I'd still argue you get worse with Herro. You lose nearly 3 possessions a game going to Herro, due to the additional turnovers, less rebounds, and less stocks. Even with slightly better scoring, you still lose out on some scoring with the reduced possessions in the switch. I don’t think that necessarily is the truth. Just because Herro isn’t grabbing rebounds doesn’t mean someone else is? I wouldn’t automatically attribute that as a loss. Steals and turnovers sure. Idk, there’s a lot of moving parts but I’d definitely prefer Herro’s scoring @ the %’s. Guerrero is also a way better playmaker. In his 2nd year and it's just an extra attribute added. Right now he is the better scorer but we will see where he is at next year. Still has plenty of growing to do |

Don't think this is true either, well if it was any other GM than the Mavs just about it would be. Mavs picks are gold, but Herro is worth 2 firsts w/o a doubt IMO. |

You would’ve won this trade by 18x more 1 guarantee lotto, with a possible lotto vs one possible lotto. I think you win. Kapranov/Foster for a Herro deal would be a really solid deal. So yeah don't see it. |

His team was still very raw and didn't have really any good bigs. He needed to make more moves than just the SF. |

So yeah don't see it. I don’t value Foster as much more than cash and I absolutely wouldn’t be giving away a first for Kapranov. We’ve seen guys like Trier do the same thing on a min deal. |
