Another one of the league's original stars, Klay Thompson had a bit more tangible success than some of the other nominees of this class. With that, came a higher peak and lower low's, in which Klay spent the end of his career closer to the end of the bench than most would've expected. Will this be enough for him to get into the NBN Hall of Fame?

Arguments For Induction
- If anyone from the 2030 class has a case, it's Klay. Four All-League Third team appearances in a league where he only stared seven of his eleven seasons, considering how hard it is to be a dominant shooting guard, is pretty damn impressive. He also managed three ASG appearances along the way.
- Klay was a career 46/87/42 shooter, played high end defense, passed the ball well, didn't turn the ball over at all for a high-volume player, and even grabbed 4.6 boards per game over his career. He was a kind of "do everything well", jack of all trades player that we don't see as much in today's league.
- Longevity! 860 games, which is 33 under Collin Sexton for the record all-time, which is pretty wild. Every season, outside of 2027, he played 77 or more games. This longevity, amongst multiple deep playoff run and an NBN title, should create a decent argument.
Arguments Against Induction
- Klay's end of career is going to really hurt his case. At the beginning of his career, he shot 1500+ times each of the three seasons, but he couldn't manage 1500 shots in the entirety of the last 3 seasons, 220 games worth. His usage is going to hurt his stats and his arguments.
- Four All-League Thirds, Three ASG appearances, an NBN championship... is his case solid enough to skate by with these as his only awards/achievements? No POTW's, POTM's, and nothing over an All-League third.
- Klay was a great player for a while, but like so many other players... lots of teams and lots of movement. Two seasons in Charlotte, then two seasons in Portland, then one in San Antonio, two in Golden State, one in Milwaukee, one more in Charlotte, and then two in Chicago. Usually, Hall of Fame players don't get passed around like this.
Vote carefully, and remember to throw out arguments regardless of which side you're on. This should be a discussion that eventually gets the league to the proper decision on him. Your vote can also be retracted after it's been cast if you feel like switching to the other side based on the arguments that have been made. To be inducted, a player needs 70% and to be considered in a later class they need 50%. Vote carefully.
***BONUS - Don't forget that everyone who votes gets $100 and the person that makes the best argument or contributes to the discussion the best will be awarded an extra $100***
