I think he deserves to be. Remember he was not played at pg for most of his career. That right there doesn't allow him to win the awards he deserves to. He is almost a 50/40/90 player and he was one of the best and consistent scorers we ever had. If he was changed to SG he would probably have the awards to help his case but just off his numbers and being consistently great I see him in the hall.

No. He was a very good player and excelled scoring the basketball. But was never the floor general necessary to win a title.

At first, I was going to say no due to the lack of assists, but then I read yourkers post and almost reconsidered, but then the turnovers are still too high.

No, he was a great scorer but he had to be hidden on the DC to limit his turnovers and didn't do anything else well enough.

I know I'm going to be in the minority in this but I'm voting yes. The scoring numbers are great, and he had great percentages for a guard. Being a SG listed at PG hurt his cases for awards, but statistically it's very hard for me to justify keeping one of the top scorers in league history out of the HOF.
