One of the elite offensive players of the league thus far, Kyrie Irving managed over 20,000 points in the NBN, which would put him very near the top of the all-time list. Will this be enough for him to get into the NBN Hall of Fame?

Arguments For Induction
- This could be an absolutely wild discussion and I'm here for it. Why is that? Kyrie is likely one of the best offensive players to play in the league thus far. Had he not been randomly thrown to the bench a few times, chances are he would've retired as the league's top point scorer ever. 20.4, 29, 29.7, 30.6, 26.6, 26.8, 21.4, 9.1 (!!!), 31.3 consecutively. Pretty incredible.
- You have to look at Kyrie as a shooting guard rather than a point guard and ignore the awards if you want to do this objectively. Kyrie fit much better as a shooting guard for multiple teams including mine, in which he was an absolutely lights out shooter. 48.8% from the field over his career, 92.4% from the line, and 44.8% from three.
- Kyrie also defended really well in terms of getting stocks. He was a 2+ stock player for the entirety of his starting run and even landed on the inaugural All-Defensive team in the first year of the NBN.
Arguments Against Induction
- Is it enough? No championship is going to really hurt his cause here. Most people will look at the stats and say wow, this guy had a great career, but the lack of awards and achievements will make it tough.
- Again, another guy who really couldn't stick around with one team or another for the majority of his career. A lot of jumping around and a lot of weird role usages will hurt his cause.
- Kyrie was a Hall of Fame scorer, no doubt about that. Were the other parts of his game Hall of Fame good? Or even great? I think that's up to debate, defensively for sure. Turnover issues marred his great performances and he wasn't much of a world breaker elsewhere.
Vote carefully, and remember to throw out arguments regardless of which side you're on. This should be a discussion that eventually gets the league to the proper decision on him. Your vote can also be retracted after it's been cast if you feel like switching to the other side based on the arguments that have been made. To be inducted, a player needs 70% and to be considered in a later class they need 50%. Vote carefully.
***BONUS - Don't forget that everyone who votes gets $100 and the person that makes the best argument or contributes to the discussion the best will be awarded an extra $100***
