Tree Rollins
Tree played 18 total seasons in the NBA and was one of the better defenders during his time. He also has one of the best names ever.
For Rollins, the farther he “rolls” down the board on draft night, the better his note becomes. If Rollins gets picked 1-5, he does not get any boosts. If he gets picked 6-10, he gets +2 to his potential. If picked 11-15, he gets +4 to his potential. If picked 16-20, he gets +6 to his potential. If picked 21-25, he gets +8 to his potential and if picked 26-29, he gets +10 added to potential. Finally, if he slips to the 2nd round, he gets a free diamond in the rough camp that does not cost anything or count on his camp history.
Johnny Moore
Johnny comes into the draft with a B+ handle rating, but C scoring across the board. In real life, Moore was an insanely bad 3 pt shooter, but he wants that to be different in NBN. Because of this, he will work extra hard for whatever team drafts him. If drafted in the lotto, Moore will get a free +3 boost to either his jump shot or 3 pt shot. If drafted after the lotto, he will get a free +3 boost to BOTH his jump shot and 3 pt shot (+6 total).
Sidney Moncrief
A true team player, Moncrief desires to make the entire team better. Any camp Moncrief goes to he can train with another player from the team in which case the other player will get the same camp free of charge. That player must be on their rookie contract(or first four years of their career if 2nd round pick) and not a lottery pick.
Vinnie "Microwave" Johnson
A pure scoring wing, Johnson needs to focus on other aspects of his game to become a full time starter. If he goes to the "Focus on your weakness" Camp, he'll receive five bonuses to his five lowest attributes rather than 2. Weakest attribute will get +5, second weakest attribute will get +4, third weakest attribute will get +3, and so on.
Mark Eaton
At UCLA, Eaton was quiet, finding himself stuck behind guys in the depth chart and not getting a ton of rotational minutes. Interestingly enough, Eaton is likely the best of the bunch, and he'd like for teams drafting high in the draft to understand that his college career does not define his potential to succeed. Eaton comes into the NBN as a defensive stalwart in every sense of the word, but it's very clear that he's going to be a flawed player for what could potentially be the entirety of his career. With that being said, Eaton's committed himself to being one of the best defensive players the league has seen, already winning DPOTY and landing on the All-Defense team in the Pre-Drafts. All Eaton needs with this goal is guidance, and with that guidance he will be rewarded. For every camp that Eaton receives with an All-Defensive Team PF or C on his roster, any defensive attribute gains in said camps will be doubled and if mentored by a former DPOY, any gains to both offensive or defensive attributes from that mentor camp will be doubled.
Oliver Gehrke***
Gehrke was not thrilled when he heard he was not the top International prospect on Roger's 2034 Draft Preview big board, feeling slighted by the committee due to his situation, playing in the Swedish Basketball League and under contract for another three seasons. Gehrke is super committed to becoming an NBN star and will reward whoever selects him with passion and intensity... as long as the team who selects him stays loyal. If Gehrke is selected in the first round and the team who selects him keeps him on their roster without trading or releasing him for the entirety of the three seasons he's gone, he will be blown away by their loyalty to a young kid from Stockholm, and will receive a +5 to 3 separate attributes when he arrives in North America and is eligible to be camped. On top of that, if Gehrke manages to play 30+ minutes per game and meets the criteria, he'll have his rookie potential bonus doubled to +10 (has to play 30+ MPG in 70+ games in his rookie deal).
Phil "Grump" Walker
Out of small Millersville University, "Grump" is looking to be the first ever NBA alum from MU. At 23, he's likely going to accomplish that, but nobody knows what his ceiling is. What we do know, however, is that "Grump" doesn't always have the best attitude and won't be afraid to show it if he's not having a good time. If Walker misses the playoffs in 3 or more years on his rookie contract, he'll have his loyalty set to 10, greed set to 90, and play to winner set to 90 before re-signings are open. However, for every year that Walker finds himself on a playoff team on his rookie deal, he'll be given a free +5 to his potential, with no cap over the four years he's on his rookie deal.
Kenny "The Baby Bull" Carr
Carr was absolutely stunned by the NBN Prospect evaluators thoughts on his draft stock, ranking as the 47th best prospect in this NBN Draft. Carr's young career flourished at DeMatha Catholic, playing with last year's #6 pick Adrian Dantley, leading DeMatha to a 36 game win streak together. Carr's talent progressed along into college, where he dominated at NC State as a multi-year All-American and multi-year leader of scoring in the ACC. Carr feels as if he's much more suited to be a 10-year NBN starter rather than a second rounder who'll be out of a job in two seasons, and he's going to work hard to out-perform the evaluation he's received. For every year on his rookie deal that Carr averages 20+ MPG, he'll earn a free improvement camp (free of camp history requirements) and if Carr manages to be his team's leading scorer for a full season (70+ GP), he'll be eligible to receive one free super-camp (also free of camp history requirements, max of one eligible over four year rookie contract).
John Long
Long lived up to his name in real life and endured a nice long 15 year career in the NBA. He’s coming into the league looking like a straight scorer but that’s about it. The one thing long about his game was not the 3 point shot. He averaged only .4 3s per game over his long career but he wants that to change. Any time a 3 PT attribute is camped you can add an additional +1 free of charge. Furthermore if you draft long you can send your team to long range camp 1 time during his rookie contract for 1750$ instead of 1500$ But all players get +3 to 3 pt shot
