The final of the HOF threads goes to Marvin Bagley III, who has mentored half of the league's bigs at this point and will leave a long impact even after he has retired. Will this be enough for him to get into the NBN Hall of Fame?

Arguments For Induction
- While the numbers are not insane, the awards really back up what he was as a player. Five-time All-Defensive team mentions, multiple time All-Leaguer and All-Star, and a tremendous career defensively and on the boards as he posted 3+ stocks AND 11.8+ rebounds per game 12 years in a row. Pretty gnarly production.
- 769 double doubles and a career 18/12/3.4 stat line isn't too bad. While he had some great years offensively as an elite big man, you knew exactly what you were getting out of Bagley and that was prime defense, rebounding, and a consistently productive asset on multiple teams who leaned heavily on his ability.
- Bagley mentored just about every rookie in 2031 and that class looks to have quite a few high-production, high-talented bigs in it, thanks in part to his ability to help. Bagley had a terrific career and you'd like to think that he'll get some credit for that here.
Arguments Against Induction
- Was he a HALL OF FAMER or just a HALL OF VERY GOOD'ER? It's a hard discussion because Bagley had the defense, produced offensively, got the rebounds, but he's also not the most overwhelmingly exciting player in the world.
- Not an efficient scorer. Even when he was posting 20+ PPG, he never got over 43.4% from the field which is a pretty big yikes and probably a reason the Wolves, Blazers ran out some interesting teams there for a while. Had Bagley been allowed to be a solely defensive asset while not being forced to shoot 1600+ times a season, who knows what the argument would look like? Would he be one of the best defensive players ever? Or bad? Who knows...
- He doesn't have the ring, which will be some people's be-all, end-all argument here. Tough or not, it's a fair case to consider and it doesn't help that he was passed around to a ton of different teams.
Vote carefully, and remember to throw out arguments regardless of which side you're on. This should be a discussion that eventually gets the league to the proper decision on him. Your vote can also be retracted after it's been cast if you feel like switching to the other side based on the arguments that have been made. To be inducted, a player needs 70% and to be considered in a later class they need 50%. Vote carefully.
***BONUS - Don't forget that everyone who votes gets $100 and the person that makes the best argument or contributes to the discussion the best will be awarded an extra $100***
