Danny Ainge
A true winner, Ainge desires to be on playoff teams. Any season of his rookie contract that he plays 15+ minutes on a team that makes the playoffs he will gain +5 potential. If they advance out of the first round, Ainge will also gain +5 to any rating that isn't athletics or potential. If he makes the playoffs in all four seasons of his rookie contract he will gain another +5 to any rating and +5 to his potential.
Song Ligang
Ligang is a 19 year old, raw prospect that needs some seasoning before making his way to the NBN. After the draft, the team who picks him has the option prior to his rookie season to keep him in Asia to continue working on his game for $750 per season for up to 3 seasons. For each season he kept overseas, he gains +5 potential(max of +15 potential). This must be decided prior to his first training camp and the potential will be added right away.
Terry Cummings
Cummings comes into the draft feeling a little bit out-shined by Mark Aguirre, as he spent a lot of his college years playing Robin to Aguirre's Batman. Cummings feels like he's the better prospect and will work hard to show it, and for every year that Cummings' team finishes with more wins than Aguirre's team, he'll be eligible to gain one of the following options: +4 to potential OR +3 to any 2 attributes, free of charge and claimable for all four years of his rookie deal.
Cheese Johnson
Lynbert Johnson, known better as "Cheese" to most of the Rucker Park hoopers, is looking to step into the NBN and make a career out of it similarly to how Helicopter Knowings has. At 24, however, Cheese looks like it could be a long shot, so he's really tried to wow scouts in pre-draft workouts. Johnson's worried about his future and wants to go in the first round to guarantee four years of contracts, and if he goes in the first round, will immediately be eligible for a free +10 to his potential rating.
Fat Lever
Alton Lister
Tony Zeno
Coached by the legendary Ned Wulk at Arizona State, the Sun Devils trio in the draft has grown very close and would like to continue playing together if at all possible. If any mixture of the three play minutes in 50+ games on the same team in any of their four rookie seasons, every player involved will be eligible to go to the "Sun Devil Special" improvement camp, which entails a free +3 to potential and two +3's to any non-potential/athletic attribute, free of charge and camp history requirements. This camp can be given four times total over their four year rookie contracts.
Sun Fengu
With the highest outside shot in the draft preview, Sun can get hotter than any other potential star in this draft. At 24 years old he may be expected to have less upside than his counterparts, but don't let his age fool you - he is a gym rat who spends hours on the court after everyone else has gone home. Each season of his rookie contract, Sun will get 1 free improvement camp that includes either 3 point shot or jump shot. This is free of season and career limits. Additionally, Sun does not have the typical cap of 85 for any camp that improves his jumper or 3 point shot.
Larry Drew
The first ever NBN prospect showing 'F' potential in the draft preview, some may be wondering if it is actually that low. Let me assure you, it is. Drew's scouted potential is actually higher than his true potential at the moment. That could change though. If Drew has an odd number of FT attempts and plays in the last game of the regular season during his rookie year, the basketball gods will shine on him and his potential will turn from an 'F' into a low 'A'.
Mark "Ziggy" Aguirre
Drafted number 1 overall in real life, he has the ability to be the best player in this draft and wants to prove it. If drafted first overall he can receive +5 to potential right away and if drafted 2 or 3 he can receive +3 to potential. Additionally during Marks first 7 years in the league he was a dominant scorer averaging 24.5 PPG. Along with his great scoring he carries a great FG % for a SF at 49.3%He wants to prove he can match what he did back in his hay day. For every season Mark averages more than 20FGA at the End of the year on his rookie contract he can receive +3 to either Jumpshot or 3PT shot. Furthermore if he scores the most points in the Rookie Sophomore game in either of his first 2 season he can claim a free +5 to either Jumpshot or 3PT shot(useable only once).
PG Darwin "Sparkplug' Cook
His nickname is exactly what he is. Spark plug comes in as a decent looking prospect but not really sure his grades are that of a starter. During his rookie contract if Darwin comes off the bench for the entire year without showing up on a DC as a starter while averaging 20+ mins per game(6th Man) then can can earn +5 quickness and +3 to his Jumpshot or 3PT shot at years end. (GM Must post at least 10 DCs and Cook must play in 65 games)
Nikola Jovic.***
Jovic is a very versatile prospect with a lot of upside, the only downfall is his years overseas. Jovic is committed to becoming the best player he can be, but he's going to need some guidance before he can make that leap. Jovic can be mentored by any international player (as long as they are eligible to mentor) regardless of what position they play. Along with this, for double the cost, you can mentor camp while he is overseas and it will not count towards his camp tracking.
Dusko Ivanovic
As the MVP of the Pre-Draft Camps, Ivanovic's stock has risen from being an afterthought to a potential lottery pick. Sounds good, right? The issue... Ivanovic doesn't speak a lick of English and may have issues communicating early on. Viral language-learning app Duolingo has sent out a memo to every team in the league, offering $1000 cash (claimed in Team Banks) for the opportunity to use his/the team's likeness in a marketing campaign as long as Ivanovic goes in the top 20 of the draft. Furthermore, Ivanovic will also receive performance bonuses from Duolingo, with another $1000 offered for any All-Rookie, All-Defensive, or All-League team that Ivanovic manages to find himself on over his rookie contract.
Lee Chong-Hui
Chong-Hui comes into the league as one of the more developed prospects but given his age and 'B' potential, he feels like he is getting left behind for some more "high upside" prospects in the draft. While his true potential is to be determined, what cannot be argued is his work ethic and desire to learn. Chong-Hui is eligible to be mentored by any position in the league, though post players might not offer the best mentor for him. He is also eligible to be mentored TWICE in his career instead of the typical once.
Tom Chambers
Chambers has two glaring weaknesses: his handling and defense. But who cares about that shit. Chambers knows at the end of the day, the only thing that matters is the ball going in the basket. Because of this, he's coming in as a prolific scorer and passer at the position, a rare combination. For every camp chambers gets sent to that improves his scoring or passing, those attributes can be doubled for doubled the cost of the camp.
