As the most prolific member of the Cavaliers franchise, Nico's another former MVP to get a write-up after an absolutely terrific career. Will this be enough for him to get into the NBN Hall of Fame?

Arguments For Induction
- While the awards may not show it, Mannion was one of the more elite PG's the league has ever had. He did it all, scoring at an extremely high level while also being a high-level passer and defender. He deserves a lot of credit for his overall ability because we haven't seen many like him so far.
- EFFICIENCY. He's a career 47.1% shooter from the field, 88% from the line, and 42.5% from three. Nico's best scoring year was actually age 33 with the Sonics, where he put up 33.3 on 49% from the field, which is insane.
- 431 POTG's, 16 POTW's, 5 POTM's, 568 Double Doubles, 10 Triple Doubles, and an NBN Championship. Toss on the fact that he won both MVP and Playoff MVP along with making a few All-League and All-Star teams throughout his career.
Arguments Against Induction
- Only one All-League First and one All-League Second team, which would put him on the "weaker" side of things in terms of NBN Award-getters. The title helps, but it's weak.
- How special was Mannion in comparison to a player like Killian Hayes (3x MVP, 7x All-League First, 12x All-Star)? What about Willie Steveniers (only 27, 2x MVP, 2x All-League First, 5x All-Star)? It's a very tough position.
- Nico wasn't perfect, and he dealt with a lot of interesting turnover issues throughout his career, especially early on. He didn't grab boards super often, which made him much more of a "shoot-first, ask-later" point guard. He was not as complete of a player as some of the other big name PG's.
Vote carefully, and remember to throw out arguments regardless of which side you're on. This should be a discussion that eventually gets the league to the proper decision on him. Your vote can also be retracted after it's been cast if you feel like switching to the other side based on the arguments that have been made. To be inducted, a player needs 70% and to be considered in a later class they need 50%. Vote carefully.
***BONUS - Don't forget that everyone who votes gets $100 and the person that makes the best argument or contributes to the discussion the best will be awarded an extra $100***
