A couple of caveats: 1. Since FBB doesn't keep track of Off. Rebounds, I've assumed that 20% of all rebounds are offensive. This is about the average throughout the NBA. Obviously, the %'s are somewhat less for PG's and somewhat more for front court players but 20% is what I've used for our purposes. 2. Fouls, are not included so the PERs will be slightly inflated since fouls are a negative stat. I could go through each team's games and calculate those but...fuck that! 3. "Starters" have been determined by MPG and whenever there was some confusion, I've looked up the last DC used by the team to determine that player's position. If you see something incorrect or have any suggestions, please feel free to post! Also, if you would like to see the PER for a specific player, you can post the player's name and I'll try to post that as well. (Note: If you would like to see the PERs for your entire team, simply send me $100 GM cash ) Point Guards: Name PER Stephon Marbury 32.28 Steve Francis 30.59 Jay Williams 30.29 Andre Miller 28.71 Gilbert Arenas 28.51 Tony Parker 26.52 Devin Harris 26.43 Steve Nash 25.86 Chris Paul 23.34 Jose Calderon 22.75 Mike Bibby 21.79 Raymond Felton 21.65 Mo Williams 21.48 Kirk Hinrich 21.40 Erick Strickland 21.22 Jameer Nelson 21.09 Damon Stoudamire 20.92 Chauncey Billups 20.45 Shaun Livingston 20.05 Deron Williams 19.64 Jason Kidd 19.57 Dimitris Diamantidis 19.18 Marko Jaric 18.81 Gary Payton 18.55 Delonte West 18.28 Kyle Lowry 17.03 Baron Davis 16.35 Brevin Knight 14.71 Will Bynum* 12.28
Please keep in mind that some players have not played the entire season as starters so their numbers may be a bit skewed.

Nice, JWill at #3 and DerMarr at #8. Dominic McGuire making the list too, not much different than Josh Smith, either. I hope McGuire steps it up!

Impressed with the fact that Amare is atop the NBN in PER, narrowly edging out C-Webb for top honors. Despite this I still suspect Amare will fall lower when it comes to All-League honors @ the end of the season & won't secure 1st Team Honors, honestly he may fall to 3rd Team Honors & PJR may finish more well respected in EOS Awards than Amare due to how stacked the PF position is throughout the NBN.

Calderon has plummeted to #10 among PG's, since he's been removed from being an option. With both Mashburn & Martin in the bottom 5 @ their positions, it goes to show where our weakness lies & how big of a difference it makes not having/needing much production from them in scoring output. Both players are no better than 5th or 6th options on the squad currently, behind Okafor even.

There are 28 primary starters producing @ a below average PER throughout the league (below 15). 8 from the Center position (worst among position groups) & 2 PG's (best among the position groups). If I was to give an overall ranking by position groups, I would go PF/PG/C/SF/SG. PF is the strongest throughout, despite PG being the deepest. SG is the most top heavy, as after the top handful, the talent falls off dramatically.
