Karl Malone
Karl is one of the best players in NBA history. He was fortunate enough to play with a hall of fame point guard for his entire career and contributes much of his success to playing with someone who got him the ball where he likes it. For each season of his rookie contract that Malone plays with a PG who makes an All-NBN team that season, he’s gets a free +5 to any attribute. Claimable each year of his rookie contract.
Dell Curry
Was a good shooter and great bench scorer during his NBA career but is infamous for being the father to two of the best shooters the world has ever seen. Curry takes great pride in his ability to teach others how to shoot. During each season on his rookie contract, Curry’s team can go to a long range team improvement camp free of charge and camp history.
Charles Oakley
Charles is one of the baddest mf’ers to ever play in the league. He was also known as an enforcer and nicknamed “Oak Tree”. He wants to bring that same reputation to the NBN. During his rookie contract, every game he receives a DQ he can gain +1 to any attribute. This is claimable only at the end of each season.
Bill Wennington
Bill was fortunate enough to be apart of the 2nd Chicago Bulls 3peat and learned the value of winning and how to contribute as a role player. While on his rookie contract, every finals game that Wennington wins he gets a free +1 to any rating. If Wennington wins a championship, those attributes can be doubled.
Irving Fryar
The former Nebraska wide receiver comes into the league with some knocks on him for his behavior off the field and slight worry about his injury history. If Fryar plays 75+ games in all 4 of his rookie contract, Fryar will receive +10 to any attributes, max of +5 per attribute, and +5 potential. If Fryar plays in 82 games in any season, Fryar will receive a free +3 to any attribute, claimable each season he plays 82 games in his rookie contract.
Pace Mannion
Pace Mannion is the son of Nico Mannion, former Cleveland Cavalier and NBN legend. Given the attention Nico has spent on his son's potnetial career, Pace is an extremely receptive person to criticism and training. Mannion is eligible to receive two mentor camps in his career, only one per year. If Mannion is mentored by an MVP, he will receive double the add-on for the MVP.
Nate McMillan
McMillan is a wizard with the ball and a future head coach in the league. McMillan knows as a point guard he is more reliant on other players to bolster his future earnings. Any camp that McMillan goes to where he improves his passing, he will take someone with him to hone those passing skills. For each camp McMillan brings a player with(any player is eligible, including non rookie contract players), that player will receive +2 jump shot and +2 three-point shot. This is ANY camp where McMillan receives passing, including supercamps and mentors(both of which only count as 1 camp and can only give +2 of each instead of +4 that 2 separate camps would give).
Jean-Jacques Conceicao
As the only big in the class able to shoot from distance, Jean-Jacques Conceicao has a leg up on the competition. As a European, this ability is somewhat second nature to a lot of these guys and Jean-Jacques is willing to help train younger players how to shoot it like he can. For the duration of his rookie contract, any player under the age of 20 is eligible to go to a camp with JJC for $1,000. This camp will instantly raise the other player's 3-point shot to 35 to get him a headstart on becoming a stretch big.
Mark Price
Price comes into the NBN as a hell of a shooter in his days in the NBA. 90% career FT shooter 47% FG shooter and 40+ 3PT%. He’s a scorer and there is no beating around that bush. When and if Mark is sent to a supercamp, if he is camped in all 3 shooting categories then he can claim +15 (+5 max each) instead of the traditional +12.
Michael "Windex Man" Cage
As one of the elite rebounding prospects in this draft class, Cage's draft stock will suffer due to his age (22) and scouted potential (C). Cage's agent has been going around telling teams to look at his collegiate progression, going from a 11 PPG, 1.7 stock player to nearly a guaranteed 25 PPG, 3 stocks per game in his senior year, and both Cage and his agent believe that all he needs is a little guidance from a star. With that being said, if Cage gets mentored by a big man with MULTIPLE All-League team appearances, instead of getting +4 to 3 attributes, Cage will be eligible to receive +6 to 3 attributes.
Zeljko Rebraca*
Most 19 year olds come into the draft looking lanky and undersized, but that's certainly not the case with Zeljko Rebraca. Rebraca comes in at 7'0 265 with a ton of muscle, but the beauty of his game is that even for a big man, he's quite talented all-around. Rebraca's itching to come over to the league sooner rather than later and is eligible to forgo his year abroad if the team who drafts him is willing to pay his $2500 buyout. If this happens, Rebraca will feel indebted to his team for their belief in his ability and will be eligible for a claimable +5 to his potential in the cash spending thread.
Franjo Arapovic*
Franjo tried getting out of his international contract but to no success, leaving him with one year overseas at already 24 years old. Franjo's trainers are promising he's a absolute stud talent, and are willing to bet if he got a mentor, he'd be even better. During the year he is overseas, he can be mentored by any big man with an all league first, second or third team at a cost of 1500 (all bonuses the same). This camp does not count towards his camp history, and he can be mentored again whenever he comes to the NBN officially.
Tony "Top Cat" Campbell
Campbell shined in the pre-draft camps and some are even wondering if he's worth a lottery pick after beating out lottery lock Dejan Bodiroga for All-League First and All-Rookie First team. Campbell's ego has really grown a lot since the pre-drafts and "Top Cat" feels as if he's the "Top Dog" in this draft, so much so that he will guarantee success if any team drafting in the lottery feels the same way. If he goes in the lottery, Campbell will be eligible to receive +5 boosts to his potential, one offensive attribute, and one defensive attribute, and if he goes above Dejan Bodiroga, he will be eligible to have any attribute gains through camps given in his rookie year in the league doubled at no extra cost.
Bob Hansen
Bob is as plain as they come. He's got the plaintest name and the plaintest game to go with it. Honestly it'd be a miracle of Hansen would go in the 2nd round, if at all, being that he's so raw and already 23. Hansen has realized if he wants to make his dream come true to be a successful NBN talent, he'll have to start differentiating himself among his peers. If drafted in the first round, Hansen can go overseas for developmental training, playing in the Euroleague. This would make him an international player, adding 2 stars next to his name. But, for each season he is over seas, he can still be camped, allowing him to have 6 years of potential camping rather than just the normal 4.
Dennis Rodman
One of the most fierce defenders and rebounders we've ever seen in a draft prospect, Dennis Rodman has a tenacious work ethic and could be one of the best role players in league history. Every time Rodman gains ratings through camps, weight rooms, etc he will be eligible to add +2 to any rebounding rating. He also has no cap of 85 on his rebounding or defensive ratings.
