Aaron Brooks 13. Julian Wright 14. Shawne Williams 15. Marcus Williams 16. Von Wafer 17. Guillermo Diaz 18. Brandon Rush 19. Joe Alexander 20. Mouhamed Sene 21. Stephane Lasme 22. Patrick Beverly 23. Chris Taft 24. Oleskiy Pecherov 25. Mile Ilic 26. Sean Williams 27. Sergio Llull** 28. Daniel Gibson 29. Sebastian Telfair
A pretty obviously thin draft without much firepower at the top. There are 3-4 very good prospects here then it dies down quickly and by the time we get to the late lotto there are guys you'll have to reach for. The end of the 1st round looks like pretty questionable talent too. Definitely a stark contrast to last year's draft.

This is definitely a draft where mid-lotto to maybe 18 or 20, is a personal preference. This is definitely not a year to get a lot of value for a late lotto pick, in terms of cash or otherwise, as there isn't much incentive to jump up so high...looks like I may be looking to slide down the draft board again, if there's interest. Although there are 2-3 players that I like, if the price is right.

I got #'s 6 and 7 in the Mock Draft, and they were close to the top of My personal lists also. I think theyre great fits with what I'm trying to do with the New TWolves direction.

Thanks, and I agree. Another thing that helped me make up my mind was the numbers he put up in predraft camp...at Center! Lol He'll probably start the season at PF because I already have Rice but I'm curious to see what he can do at SF with that 6'9" 230lbs frame. He was able to get Oden in foul trouble in one game I noticed. Obviously he'll need some camps to work on D and rebounding but his offense and handles are pretty good already

Pecherov went VERY high. lol I was just going to post that. Lol #GreatMinds I get what the Celtics were thinking, but I liked a few different options for a post player over Pecherov. Regardless a post player that high was a reach & a half no matter who was selected. If Pecherov doesn't gain massive improvement defensively, the Celtics are in trouble. Pecherov should be effective offensively, but man, he's a turnstile defensively based on the letter grades. The Celtics really have a tough situation regarding their post players, until they can get some of the big salaries off the payroll. Tomic should be able to step in after coming from OS...in the meantime their post situation is rough.

Pecherov is the oldest player with A potential, and at 22 he should be specialized at a certain area already to even be considered at Top 10 pick. If he had a B or A- somewhere i would have seen it as a good pick.

I seen guys in their upper 20's still developing. A guy could be 30 sitting with B potential and still have a chance to see a letter grade change. So A potential is still great to see especially if it is a high A grade.

Definitely should not have went that high, but the B- Inside is fine, especially with the C+ Outside...but I would've traded down with a team wanting to nab a combo-guard or combo-wing. Now part of it may have been the pushing to complete the trade with Orlando, but Boston should've been directing Orlando on exactly what to accomplish for Monta Ellis (maybe they did?). Either way my issue is the missed value by rushing things.
