Never won a championship but was a DOMINANT force his whole career. Easily the most unstoppable player I've seen during my stay in the league. Such a beast..

Yes although he seemed to be a bit of a cancer for the teams he played on. One of the best individual players to play in the league though - it's a shame he retired so soon, I'm sure he had some juice left....

Rather than comment on every single player that was nominated for HOF from the last few seasons...I'll just comment on the players I feel deserve it. Out of all the nominees, I believe 4 deserve a spot in the hallowed NBN HOF:
1)Shaq 2)Mourning 3)Gary Payton 4)John Stockton
To me Shaq & Mourning dominated the early NBN years & were 2 of the biggest matchup nightmares to deal with. Mourning was essentially what C-Webb/Duncan & the elite post players around now have become. In the real early stages Mourning was essentially the most dominant 2-way player @ C & one of the few that could hold his own against Shaq (although Mourning did play a good deal of PF in the NBN).
As for Stockton & Payton, while not really being the top options for their teams offensively, they were fantastic catalysts for the offenses they led. Both players also were able to take over in a scoring role, if others struggled. Both players were also very successful in the postseason as well.
The rest of the players either put up solid numbers for too short a period of time or just didn't have the team success to match their #'s.

Yes - a double double machine. Only downside was his FT shooting and some years TO's. The man was a beast and retired too early.

The Big Aristotle was a dominator. He retired way too early.
