Chet played an absolutely ridiculous amount of basketball with 1571 games played, 33.4 minutes per game, and will go down as one of the one of the more consistently good offensive bigs that we've seen in quite some time. Will this be enough for him to get into the NBN Hall of Fame?

Arguments For Induction
- Chet had quite a career and I think a lot of his prime was lost in his final years as a quality, but not that great big, as you'd expect an old fella like him to provide. Chet was a consistent 20/13/3.5 player for a chunk of his career and even found his way onto a few All-League Teams along the way even with all the dominant bigs he played against.
- 2 titles, 982 double doubles, 8 All-Star Games, 3 All-League Teams, and just an overall unbelievable career in terms of the longevity he gave. 14 times he was a 15 PPG or better average player and was a consistent 12-13 boards for over a decade without any issues while also being a pretty high-quality stock contributor, and, what made him special...
- SHOOTING ABILITY! We don't see this out of bigs much, but this guy shoots better than a lot of guards and wings do across the league, which is a HUGE boost to your team. Usually I chalk up the bigs as pretty much 40-41% from the field and Chet consistently outperformed that from the field and from deep, which is a marvel for a guy of his size.
Arguments Against Induction
- It's difficult letting a guy who averaged 16.7 PPG, 11.9 RPG, 3.2 StocksPG into the Hall of Fame, so there will be some deliberation over that given the fact that he probably hurt his legacy by playing so deep into his career in terms of his overall statistic output.
- Not much in the awards category outside of the All-Star Games compared to most of the other HOF bigs we've let in already. If you really value All-Star appearances, he'll have you won over, but there's not much there. 1 POTW, 1 POTM are small additions but for a guy who played that long, you'd hope that there was a bit more?
- There's nothing outlandish about what he did and I think that's going to really hurt his case in some ways. He was a really good, not great scorer, rebounder, passer, stock defender. He could be in a similar boat to others as a guy who was a Hall of Very Good for some voters with how we've seen the voting shift.
Vote carefully, and remember to throw out arguments regardless of which side you're on. This should be a discussion that eventually gets the league to the proper decision on him. Your vote can also be retracted after it's been cast if you feel like switching to the other side based on the arguments that have been made. To be inducted, a player needs 70% and to be considered in a later class they need 50%. Vote carefully.
***BONUS - Don't forget that everyone who votes gets $100 and the person that makes the best argument or contributes to the discussion the best will be awarded an extra $100***
