Former Playoff MVP Forddy Anderson walks away the game after a solid year as a 33 year-old, hoping his run was enough to get him some votes. Will this be enough for him to get into the NBN Hall of Fame?

Arguments For Induction
- Here's an example of a guy who had a short career but a terrific prime, as a guy who put up 19/10/4/2 on solid percentages for a large chunk of his 1,010 games in the NBN. He wasn't always given volume and he wasn't always put in a position to succeed individually, but he was a great team player who distributed with the best of them.
- Five years of double digit APG while also being a 19+ PPG player is impressive, but the most positive thing he's got for his career was a shocking FMVP with the Blazers over Marques Haynes in his prime with the Miami Heat in 2034. Forddy stepped up and led the 55-win Blazers to a huge upset over 68-win Miami and won Finals MVP, which is a really exclusive club still this far into the NBN.
- He was a nearly flawless player who may not have had unbelievable ceilings over his career but the floor was always considerably higher than some of the league's PGs of his stature. He was a very consistently good producer for the majority of his years.
Arguments Against Induction
- I think we'd have a totally different conversation on Forddy's case if he had stayed in Portland and been allowed to dominate with the level of volume he had for a large portion of his career. The other years were not so fun without the ball in his hands and his stats took a real bump because of it.
- There's not much in terms of awards or accolades as expected given how stacked the position was. Forddy probably had one truly Tier 1 year in terms of the PG rankings and otherwise was always a Tier 2/3 guy, which would put him in the 'Hall of Good' rather than the 'Hall of Fame'
- I just don't think his career was long enough. He peaked quickly and didn't get any type of volume elsewhere throughout his career which is quite unfortunate given how good he was with volume in Portland. Tough!
Vote carefully, and remember to throw out arguments regardless of which side you're on. This should be a discussion that eventually gets the league to the proper decision on him. Your vote can also be retracted after it's been cast if you feel like switching to the other side based on the arguments that have been made. To be inducted, a player needs 70% and to be considered in a later class they need 50%. Vote carefully.
***BONUS - Don't forget that everyone who votes gets $100 and the person that makes the best argument or contributes to the discussion the best will be awarded an extra $100***
