A productive small forward wherever he went, Disco Bristow retired at the ripe age of 35 after what looked to be a renaissance year back into his prime, reminding us just how talented he is as a player. Will this be enough for him to get into the NBN Hall of Fame?

Arguments For Induction
- It feels like Disco's 23.3/6 on 46% from the field should stack up fairly well to the competition, both future nominee potential guys as well as the guys who already got in. During his career, for the vast majority of it, he was near the top end of the SF list in terms of offensive productivity.
- A 6x All-Leaguer at a position that has been frequently dominated by guys like Emoni Bates, Ousmane Dieng, and Bernard King is pretty surprising, to be honest. I wouldn't have guessed that he made 6 teams given how dominant the top end of SFs were and honestly, there were definitely times throughout his career where he was very much up there with the best SFs in the game.
- He defended well, passed the ball efficiently without many turnovers, and was a consistent 6 boards-per-game throughout much of his career as a kind of "unflawed" build at the SF position. He was great just about everywhere he went in just about everything he did. 8x All-Star!
Arguments Against Induction
- No titles and honestly, I'm not sure if he ever really had any deep runs into the playoffs. I don't really remember him being a guy who was a consistent playoff performer and not having a ring definitely hurts with how a few GMs tend to vote.
- Now, we get into the topic of "HOW GOOD WAS HE?" in which, honestly, he stacked up pretty well but was never the best at any one specific thing. He was a terrific all-around player but he didn't do anything overly special although he had a few big years sprinkled in there, sneaking in an All-League First near the end of his career... but it's going to be hard to compare him to one of the recent SF inductees given how talented they were.
- He couldn't win in the WEST? Unbelievable. All those years with the Suns, Nuggets, Rockets, and Blazers and he never won in the West!
Vote carefully, and remember to throw out arguments regardless of which side you're on. This should be a discussion that eventually gets the league to the proper decision on him. Your vote can also be retracted after it's been cast if you feel like switching to the other side based on the arguments that have been made. To be inducted, a player needs 70% and to be considered in a later class they need 50%. Vote carefully.
***BONUS - Don't forget that everyone who votes gets $100 and the person that makes the best argument or contributes to the discussion the best will be awarded an extra $100***
