Duane Causwell
Flying way under the radar a bit this year with the loaded big class, Causwellis a true selfless, team-playing big who blocks shots and rebounds but is willing to stay in his lane. Causwell wants to help the team more than anything and is eligible from day one to be a mentor. Same camp rules(his top 3 attributes, same price, can't be given to anyone not eligible) apply. The camp will also come with one free add on of your choosing. When mentored Causwellwill also receive 1 free add on, regardless of the mentor of Causwell's award history.
Mun Gyeong-Eun**
Despite being one of only four players with at least B- B- offensive attribuets, Gyeong-Eun is a projected second round pick due to his defense. While on his contract still overseas, Gyeong-Eun can be sent to a camp for $1000 that will give him +2 perimeter defense, +2 quicness, and +2 steals. Once in the NBN, the fans will thrive off Gyeong-Eun's energy and offense. For every 25 point game in Gyeong-Eun's first four years, the team he is on can claim $200 in GM Cash.
Mookie Blaylock
Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf
Terrell Brandon
It’s been a while since we’ve had a trio of top PGs come into the league like this and they all want to put a show on for the fans. Yes, they know Barry Sanders is here too, but they fully overlook him and don’t respect him as a former football player. With that being said, if Sanders gets taken before ALL 3 of these PGs, they can each claim a free +5 to any rating of their choice including potential. In addition, each time Mookie, MAR, and TB face off against each other in the regular season within their first 2 years in the league, whichever PG puts up the most combined points and assists in that game can claim a free +1 to any rating. Must be posted in the spending thread.
Jayson Williams
The top rebounder of this year’s class, Jayson comes in already boasting a B+ rating, but he is not satisfied. He wants to turn into the best defensive PF we have in this league and will get some extra bonuses every time that rebounding is camped. During his rookie contract, each time Williams O or D rebounding gets any boosts, he can add a free +3 to his post D or blocking. This can only be claimed once per season.
Rick Berry
Rick Berry's idol growing up was Rick Barry and after seeing Barry's illustrious career end with a ring, he wants to follow in the footsteps of his beginnings as closely as possible. That, of course, means following his camp regimen. If Berry is camped in the same ways as Rick Barry was from year to year (year 1: 3pt x2, year 2: super, year 3: per D x2, year 4: wing x2), he'll be eligible to receive a free +3 to any rating. If he's camped exactly how Barry was for all four years, he'll be eligible to have his final year of camp gains DOUBLED AND will be eligible for a free +3 to whatever attribute you choose.
Troy Aikman
Troy Aikman's clearly a tough guy and will not allow any dresses on the court, and if he picks up a knock, you better believe he's going to grind back to full health. Any time Troy Aikman is sent to the team doctor to heal, he'll be able to cut an extra 5 days off on top of whatever his original injury was. If he ever picks up a long-term injury, he'll be eligible to receive a team doctor camp to halve his injury time for $250 flat regardless of how long said injury was.
Sylvester Gray
Sylvester Gray comes into the league at 24 as a unique prospect without much offensive ability... but potential to be sneaky good at another position, namely Power Forward. Gray has been working with NBN legend TaQuan Woodley behind the scenes and has jumped up the draft board, yet, he's still listed at the 3 in the draft. Regardless, Gray will have the opportunity to switch to play Power Forward full-time if he's drafted in the first round and said team will be able to hire TaQuan Woodley full-time as his own personal trainer for $1000. With this $1000 investment and a switch to the 4, Gray will be able to claim a +3 to his inside scoring, post defense, blocking, and one of his offensive/defensive rebound ratings so he's more easily acclimated to play the position.
Clifford Robinson
Uncle Cliff was a force during his time and was a great 6th man throughout his career. With that being said, Cliff comes into NBN expecting to be a starter, but may have one issue that could turn teams off: his rebounding. In order to be seen as a true potential starter, Cliff will have to work on that aspect of his game. Anytime Cliff is sent to a camp during his rookie contract, regardless of what he is being camped in, he will be able to add an additional +2 D rebounding and +2 O rebounding. These are free add-ons and can only be claimed once per season, meaning if Cliff goes to 2 improvement camps, he can only claim the add-on one time, not twice.
Zheng Wu
In what looks to be one of the worst SF classes in recent memory, Zheng Wu stands out above the rest. Unfortunately for him (and the team that drafts him), he will still be overseas for 3 seasons, unless of course, there's an awesome draft note to change that. Wu looks like he is one good TC away from being an early contributor and wants to get the opporutnity as opposed to staying overseas. Every offseason after Wu is drafted (including the one where he is drafted), Wu will be sent to a random number generator that will determine if he can get out of his overseas contract all together. If Wu rolls a number between 1-50, he will be released of his contact and will immediately come join his team, but if he rolls a number between 51-100, he will stay overseas. Once released of the contract, he will be able to claim a +5 to any rating of your choice and a +5 to potential. If Wu never rolls a number under 51, he will stay overseas for all 3 seasons and will not get the free bonuses. This MUST be posted in the claims thread so that silver can post the number that was generated for Wu.
Felton "Chief" Spencer
Drafted pretty high in real life, Spencer never really caught on and lived up to expectations. He'd like to change that and will go over-the-top in his post draft workouts to prove it to his new team. Every odd season during his rookie contract (1st and 3rd years for those of you who don't know math), Spencer can be sent to a FREE improvement camp that doesn't count against camp history. Meaning that season or offseason, he will be eligible for 3 improvement camps with only 2 counting.
Antonio Davis
Antonio had a impressive 23 season career and even earned an all-star bid after being the 45th pick. He’s hoping to have the same kind of success in the NBN and do even better if possible. For each spot he’s selected ahead of the 45th pick, he’ll get to add the difference to his potential. For example, If he’s selected #20, he can add 25 points to his potential (45-20=25).
Rony Seikaly
As a Lebanese-American he was one of the first internationally born players to make an impact on the NBA. He’s coming into the NBN as an older prospect and would love to mentor other international players that he helped pave the way for. During his rookie contract, he can bring any international player that is younger than him to each improvement camp he attends free of charge (Super camp & mentor camps don’t apply).
Lionel Simmons
Lionel had a decent, but short career in real life and wants to change that here in the NBN. Wherever Lionel is drafted, he can me mentor camped by any player who has played in the league for 12+ seasons, regardless of what position. If the player has played 15+ seasons here in NBN, his mentor camp can be doubled. This includes add-ons.
Bateer Wengke
While he only played 3 seasons in the NBA, Bateer is one of the better Chinese players we have seen, even having his #9 retires by the Beijing Ducks. Each time during his rookie contract, when Bateer grabs exactly 9 rebounds, he can get +1 added to any attribute, capped at 5 per season. If drafted in the lotto, Bateer’s international contract can be bought out for $1000 per season and can immediately join his new team.
