Hawks accept. Losing Sabonis sucks but he’s a massive expiring and being 34 next year don’t see this as a huge L. Snag a first and cash to help with Lux tax while getting younger at C for a couple seasons. Still cut massive cap next year so this is a win in my mind.

I agree. Sabonis either comes back on a reasonable deal or I open up a ton of cap going into fa next year.

I expect him not to retire so he becomes a nice trade chip or can be nice playing C/PF next to my young core I am putting together.

This also puts the Hawks in a nice position for the next gm.

Seems like a fine deal for the Hawks to me, told Spike that depending on reaction it might need to go to the committee but as of now I'm fine with it.
