I know we've had a few GMs try to claim a team so far, but we are going to distribute the teams by a draft with a randomized order. Once we get enough GMs to fill the league I will run the order and once the rosters are done we will hold a team draft. All current NBA teams will be available other than the Pelicans, who are not supported in this game from 2001, and the Kings because I'm taking them - Light the Beam!

The 'Probably in' people will definitely be in if they are active and available through the team draft, I recognize most of you through this league and greater FBB community and I trust you to be able to competently run a team for the long term. That puts us at 25, with 4 spots open and 6 people I've never heard of interested. The list could evolve a little in the coming days, but this is where we stand for now.

I'll be active im just waiting for things to pick up. I was in another league with A. Silver i just dont remember what it was called because its been at least 10 years ago. I think it was a DDSPB league if im not mistaken. If i can find the league again i'll bring it up but i just dont remember much from those sim leagues.
btw i still use ddspb, i just bought the 2024 version. lol Pissed they made Wembanyama injury prone.

So are the players just drafted based on the order and we get the team, for example Sonics, just players might change. Doesn't matter to me who my players are to start, just Bring Back The Sonics!!!

After thinking this over I don't see any reason to not include the Pelicans in the available teams and instead just get rid of the only team that isn't picked in the Team Draft. Pelicans players and salaries can be found here - www.basketball-reference.com/contracts/NOP.html |
