Five teams are done; Celtics, Heat, Knicks, Nets, Pelicans. The vast majority of ratings are generated by the in game tool, but that isn't perfect for every player so now is your chance to look at the rosters and suggest improvements. Ratings will be locked at the start of the team draft, but are open to change until then.
The player generator is pretty good at most things, but can get positional defense and athletics wrong. It's important to remember that the players might sim differently than their ratings suggest and I will be running at least one test sim before we start to make sure there are no crazy stats. I'll consider all suggestions, but I'll look more closely at posts with a 'Like' or two, so be sure to check the thread and click the thumbs up button for stuff you agree with even if you don't have suggestions.

It's hard to say without knowing how the rest of the rosters look to contextualize how inflated or deflated they are. Tbh, might need stats too.
I.E. Jaylen Brown looks rough, especially with that salary, and Jrue Holiday is a premiere defender with C+ defense.

Handling looks off. Looking at the PGs. Lowry C, Brunson C+, Holiday C, White C
The Nets have 4 PGs with B- or better tho

Butler and Brown are both B- B+ |

Under the assumption it’s supposed to be deflated. I think overall it’s pretty solid. I can nitpick a few, but nothing drastic.
Herro should be a C rebounder. Historically at 5rpg. Same as Jrue and RJ who are both C
Bam is a 54% scorer. Scored 20 last year and 22 this year at B+ C-
Julius is a career 46%. He was 25ppg last year and 19 this year and is a A B+. Think Randle needs to come down or Bam go up
Would have to see how Brunson sims, but will he score enough with C inside?

I assume you didn't touch defense yet. Jrue and Mikal Bridges defensive ratings stand out Relative to everything else. Think Mikal at B- is ok. Only other wing defender so far that’s higher is Butler at B and Hart at B+ (who has no offense). Agree on Jrue needing to be bumped to probably a B. |

When I get time I will sit and over look the rosters. I feel certain players that are superstars should only get an A- or above. Legit defenders like Bridges and Holiday and smart should be in the A- A area.
This is how I see wemb for instance and Tatum
Wemb: B+ C+ C B+ B- A
Tatum: B+ A- C+ B C A

Few questions/takeaways: - How is potential going to be determined on guys, just as a frame of reference?
- Randle looks a little over tuned. With A B+ scoring and with 0 defense in the league, he is going to go for like 34 with 3.5 turnovers I'd imagine. (Jokic is also only an A- B+ too)
- Ben Simmons looks like a SICK build.

So PGs with 5-6 assists per game are not going to have a high handling grade. If a player with high assists has a low handling rating then it should be changed. |
