This is why interims should get some free scouts.
He had that deducted, but I footed the bill(with the Hornets) for like $600 in scouts for the Suns prior to that thread being made. (When I drafted Bailey) I think interims should get at least 2 free scouts for the draft if nothing else.

FWIW, I think Meleek Thomas was the correct pick in that situation when I used like 5 scouts, so I think it was worth it, but still.

It's not my fault that he didn't account for it. I told him that I had spent 1200 on scouting when he took over. Now, I'm getting charged for it all? This isn't cool either. If the interim is supposed to do their best job to run the team that includes to make sure you draft the best player and then develop them. You need scouts to do that. That's why I asked like 3 seasons ago if interims could get a few free scouts each year. I don't think that's a crazy request. |

That’s how it feels to take on debt from someone else’s scouting choices… I dont see how you could possibly expect a new GM to take on those payments lmao

So your example would be "hey I know you just got here, here's $2k. You owe me $1k." I'd take that deal |
