Seems like you are trying to rebuild the team, but you have had success during pre-season. Mike Conley has been co-leading the team along with Austin Reaves both scoring 23.5ppg and both dishing out a lot of assists. Did you plan on having what seems to be a 2 point guard system, or was it a pleasant surprise?

Doesn’t surprise me his assist numbers being high with Reaves knocking down shots. Reaves on the other hand I feel like will control this offense and be the leader we need. We are hoping to build around him and Jaquez and maybe snag some young Bigs this offseason to kick start a semi quick turn around with the amount of cap we were able to open up for next year |

You have some good young talent on your roster right now, looking forward to next TC - who do you think makes the biggest jump? I really am, Stunk having last pick so i wanted to tear the team down. I know people think i sold on Bron and AD but i wanted a fresh start. TC should be fun if Reaves continues to grow and i am also hoping for a nice bum from Jaquez and Hood-Schifino! two young prospects ive got high hopes on. |

Lot of interest for him but it will take an unreal offer to move him at this point. 25-7-4 and only paying him around 14 mill for the next 4 seasons is juicy. Im hoping not for long, ive already got a building block in reaves at 25 and a nice bench scoring big in RUI at 25. Jaquez is a 22 year old rookie at SF showing A- outside already and got another decent prospect in Hood-Schifino at SG. Plan is to be bad this year and maybe snag a young PG/ Big and then i opened up over 92 mill to play with in FA if i want to turn this around quick. Im hoping 1 bad seasoon then at least start to be competitive a little bit next season. |

Your team looks nice, I haven’t went back and seen the Lebron or AD deals but since you wanted to transition to the younger group I think you did a decent enough job. Where do you rank Reaves among all SGs and then among all young players? What kind of players will you be targeting to build around him?

I probably got less than youd think for them but i had last pick in the draft so didnt really get to pick my team so i wanted to start fresh! Im excited for the young squad for sure. I think with his age and contract reaves is one of the most Valuable shotting guards in the league. As for young guys hes only 25 and just put up 24-7-4 in the final sim so id say he has to rank pretty high for the young guards of the league. |

What do you think your best move has been since taking over the team? So far its been moving that AD Contract. He's a solid player but just peaked him over on Miami averaging 15-12 for 40 mill, no thank you. at 34 he will be making 70 mill that is going to be a hard contract to move if he doesn't start dominating. Id also say it was my ability to not move Reaves. Had a lot of conversations but in the end i stuck by him and think he's going to be solid. |
