1. Indiana Pacers - Haliburton might be the best PG in the league at the most important position in FBB, but he's not the only reason for the Pacer's success. Rim protector Miles Turner and sharpshooter Buddy Hield are perfect compliments to Haliburton and big time trade acquisition Kawhi Leonard puts them over the top.
2. Phoenix Suns - The unconventional lineup decision to put KD as 6th man has been working out. Booker is thriving as the main option, and Durant is still finding a way to put up over 20ppg in just 23.8mpg - good enough for 2nd in the league in ppg per 48 minutes.
3. Minnesota Timberwolves - KAT and Edwards are both playing amazing while Gobert is the perfect FBB big and the Wolves didn't even have to give up all of their picks to get him in this universe. They could go for an upgrade at SF or PG, but the talent is there to beat any team.
4. Miami Heat - After trading plenty of assets to acquire AD and James Harden in the preseason, Miami started off slow and were under .500 after the first 11 games. They have reeled off 5 straight now though and are starting to play like their talent level says they should.
5. Golden State Warriors - Steph is playing out of his mind and could carry this team to a deep postseason run if he gets hot. Unlike the real NBA he doesn't have to worry about how many games Draymond will be suspended for.
6. Memphis Grizzlies - They've won 5 straight, just traded for an upgrade at SF, and super camped Bane. Not to mention Ja Morant comes back in a few more sims. This is a team to look out for in the 2nd half and could be even stronger next season with Adams and Clarke coming back off long term injuries.
7. Philadelphia 76ers - Hard to put them too high in the top 10 when they are under .500 but the roster is too talented to ignore. Maxey/Grimes/George/Lebron/Embiid is too much to handle for most squads around the league.
8. New Orleans Pelicans - The Pelicans have a little bit of everything now that Brunson is running the show. Their wing defense looks a little light, but there's enough talent up and down this roster to make a tough matchup for almost any team.
9. Atlanta Hawks - Guard play can dominate FBB and the Hawks have maybe the best guard duo in the league with Murray and Young. Capela is a nice compliment too, but the Hawks didn't do any buying and may have let themselves slip behind the top teams.
10. Houston Rockets - One of the youngest rosters in the league and loaded with potential, the Rockets are trying to prove that the future is now in Houston.
