New version of NBN, but same ole Hunt and JBallin. Here with the NBN 3.0 TC reactions. We will be taking a look at who popped off and who the FBB Gods struck down.

Spike and the Lakers were quick to point out that JHS had a sensational training camp. The young guard at only 21 years old took a tremendous leap in pretty much every rating to take home a staggering +6 TC. Personally, this is one of the crazier pops I've seen in quite some time. Invest wisely Spike you have a real player here! As JHS is eligible to play backup PG I suspect majority of minutes will come as a super sub type of role.
THE WINNERS

Isaiah Collier PG 19 1 1 2 1 0 5
Aday Mara C 19 1 1 0 1 1 4
Tyrese Maxey PG 23 0 1 2 1 0 4
Lonzo Ball PG 27 0 1 1 1 1 4
Isaiah Stewart C 23 1 0 0 2 1 4
Taran Armstrong PG 22 0 0 2 2 0 4
Justin Edwards SF 20 1 2 0 0 1 4
While these guys didn't have quite the TC JHS had, if I was an owner, I would still be delighted to have them! Topping the list of winners we had rookie PG Isaiah Collier--I had heard mumblings through the draft that he was high on a lot of peoples boards, its just a shame he fell into Dash's hands (I should have taken him ). Regardless, he took a huge jump increasing across the board minus boards (Rebounding) to leave camp with a sole second place +5 finish.
Now we get to where the field catches up--6 players were able to capitalize on +4 overall letter grade increases. The guy on the list that stands out the most is the 76ers guard Tyrese Maxey. This MFer was FIRST TEAM ALL NBN last season, only too improve so much more. Only question will be can him and Joel co-exist or will Carlos need to work a deal with the Jazz to move one? However, until the turmoil boils over, this tandem will continue to be a force out East. Its a common theme that FBB loves to take care of their guards in TC, but Rookie Aday Mara and few year vet Isaiah Stewart said "fuck your silly game". While at TC, The Slough made the executive decision to trade Beef Stew to no other than, yep you guessed it, the 76ers. Thus forming quite the post duo between him and Embiid. While Stewart is no master of one aspect of the game, he is very solid across the board. While in the Atlantic division, lets cover Mara's TC. After falling to the end of the first round in this years draft, it must have gave Mara a chip on his shoulder. That along with new post presence Nic Claxton, they were able to refine some of Mara's game. We will need to monitor the 19 year old's ability to progress while playing with the reigning DPOTY. Let's cover the Big Baller himself, Lonzo Ball. He had sat out the prior season due to some knee injuries. On the low, there were speculations regarding Lonzo taking a trip to China to get a few knee procedures. If that is true, I will need to get those doctors on retainer as Lonzo has made a full recovery and then some! Also, this is another Dash player---Who is your PG coach over there? Justin Edwards of the Spurs is our only SF hitting the winners list and that will only carry on the tradition of SF being the weakest position in the NBN. Last but not least....well maybe least--We have Taran Armstrong. The Twolves luck continues to run strong as their 2nd round pick saw +2 leaps in defense and handling. While he may never be an effective scorer, he is setup to be a solid game managing and facilitating PG.
THE LOSERS
Name POS Age IN OUT HND Def Reb
Damian Jones C 29 0 0 -1 -1 -1
Al Horford C 40 -1 0 0 -2 0
Ricky Rubio PG 34 0 0 -1 -1 -1
Russell Westbrook PG 35 -1 0 -1 -1 0
Chris Paul PG 39 0 -1 -1 -1 0
Dillon Brooks. SF 28 -1 0 -1 -1 0
Damion Lee SG 32 0 -1 0 -1 -1
All players hitting the Losers list took a rough -3 hit to ratings. Notable declines include the GOAT Russell Westbrook. He had a tragic ending to his season last year leading the Jazz to a game 7 war with the eventual NBN Champs. He gave it his all, but sadly it seems his time is coming to an end as a starter. Didn't realize CP3 was still kicking, but astonishingly when I looked at his last year stats he was putting up 8.5ppg on only 14mpg. I'm no mathematician, but why the hell was this guy not getting legitimate minutes anywhere? I believe Dillion Brooks is the only other player that gets playing time, but let me say, that could be changing. He is locked up on a 3 year deal that is luckily declining.

Crazy that I laid low this season and Silver still has it out for me . One thing to be concerned about is that the biggest loser's, The Pelicans, took home the 3rd best TC despite playing in the finals last season. Only Slough could get that lucky! The Spurs took home the best overall team ratings increases--I know, you all want to know about Wemby. That Frenchman managed a modest +2 between his handles and rebounding. Previously it was covered that the Wizards had 2 guys in the winners column, so that math checks out on why they came in at 2nd!
How'd your teams turn out? Any shocking news?
