Centers:
The Eastern conference centers are led by Embiid, he's the most efficient scorer on this list while also placing first as a rebounder and second for blocks in the league. It's still amazing to me that the Heat have both Davis and Adebayo, what an absolute monster duo to have every night. Although Jackson Jr. is not scoring that efficiently so far, it is nice that he doesn't turn the ball over much and he's been a incredible on the defensive side - leading the league in blocks. After that I'm a big fan of a couple of the young guys, Duren and Williams. Both players look like they're going to be solid for years to come.
Power Forwards:
This list looks a whole lot better then the West, that's for sure. It's still kind of interesting the amount of players with sub 10 rebounds, it's kind of nice to see. Milwaukee is obviously the highlight here, just like how Miami is at the top of the center list, we have both KD and Giannis here topping the power forwards. KD has looked incredible, he's scoring so efficiently and at such a high rate. Giannis has suffered with his offensive output, maybe because the KD pairing has taken some shots away, but he's still been amazing with the rebounding and blocks is right up there with Embiid. I went deeper on this list to include Harris because he's averaging under 20 MPG but still scoring over 10 PPG - perhaps a 6MOY candidate!

Small Forwards:
Well, there's twice as many scorers putting up over 15PPG in the East compared to the West. There's some veterans that are still holding on and doing it well in Leonard, George and Butler, but there's like the next group with Ingram (27) and Brown (27) and then another group with Barrett (24), Franz (23) and Murphy (24). Outside of Leonard, who's the top guy in this group? Who are we picking to build around?

Shooting Guards:
This is where the conference feels like it falls off a bit, the West shooting guards definitely stand ahead of this group. I don't know if Simons has missed some games due to injury but still he's like the only player capable of scoring the ball for Boston at this point in their rebuild. A similar situation is felt in Toronto when it comes to Beal, he's missed some games and is on a team where he has to do all of the scoring. Wagner is just a rookie and although he's offensively gifted, there were questions around his defense if I recall. Picking two players for the all-star game out of this group may be challenging.

Point Guards:
I went a bit deeper again on a list to include some point guards that I felt should get some attention even though they're lower on the list. Quickly obviously because he's not really playing point guard since he's next to Haliburton but he has been posting inhuman efficiency. Dinwiddie is racking up a good A/TO ratio and is just a solid player overall. Topic is looking like he was definitely deserving of his draft spot, he just has to work on them turnovers and he'll be set! Onto the other end though, the three way battle at the top between Maxey, Hailburton and SGA is really heating up. It's crazy how good Maxey has been while limiting the turnovers. He's having an MVP caliber season again.
