Heres a look a some of the guys who i think should be in contention for MVP come years end!
12. PF Kevin Durant (Bucks)
27.8 PPG 8.9 Rebs 2.3 Assists 1.6 Stocks
A nice addition to the bucks has Durant here at number 12. While the bucks haven't shown that the offseason moves have paid off, Durant is showing that even at the age of 36 he's still near the top of his game.
11. SF Jason Tatum (Thunder)
28.4 PPG 8.6 Rebs 2.9 Assists 1.1 SPG
The move that has shot the Thunder back to contenders is Tatum at 11. One of if not the the best SF in the league, Nice move by Melo to snag him and turn the OKC thunder around.
10. PG Jalen Brunson (Pelicans)
25.8 PPG 8.6 Assists 5.1 Rebs 2.2 SPG
Another player who was acquired via trade and has just turned into a success story. Brunson finds his way on the list and carrying the Pels to the top of the East.
9. PG Tyrese Haliburton (Pacers)
27.5 PPG 9.4 Assists 4.7 Rebs 1.5 SPG
Another flashy PG who at the age of 24 has a very very bright future in this league and i wouldn't be shocked to see him near the top of this list in the coming years.
8. PG Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (Magic)
27.6 PPG 8.8 Assists 5.3 Rebs 2.1 SPG
Rog got him a couple years ago and he hasn't disappointed one bit. Hell of a player and we will be seeing him for a long long time on this list.
7. De'Aaron Fox (Kings)
30.1 PPG 8.5 Assists 4.9 Rebs 1.9 SPG
PG you say? the trend continues. The guy whose single handily carrying the kings on his back is only 26 and like the others on this list will be a hassle for the league for years to come.
6. Lamelo Ball (Hornets)
27.8 PPG 9.7 Assists 6.2 Rebs 2 SPG
It doesn't stop, this league is filled with tremondous PGs and this list shows that. NBN has always been a PG forward league but with the long range that the NBA is in it doesnt shock me at all to see this many. 23 years young i hope the Hornets find a dancing partner for Ball and company.
5. Tyrese Maxey (Sixers)
28.9 PPG 10.2 Assists 6 Rebs 1.8 SPG
Another 23 year old Phenome. These last 2 PGs are so young and have the hornets and sixers looking like they'll be contenders for the next 10 years.
4. Ja Morant (Lakers)
30.7 PPG 9.2 Assists 6.6 Rebs 1.7 SPG
One of my favorite players in the league by far, his flashy explosive play just reminds me of the 2000s where i grew up watching ball. Glad i was able to get him and turn the Lakers chise around.
3. PG Luka Doncic (Jazz)
32.2 PPG 9.4 Assists 5.9 Rebs 2.4 SPG
Back to back 25 year old PGs who were both dealt this year but find themselves 3-4 in MVP votes. If you haven't realized it by now the league will be PG dominant for many many years.
2. C Nikola Jokic (Nuggets)
29.1 PPG 13.9 Rebs 5 Assists 1.9 Stocks
Now we move to the meat of our league. The reigning MVP himself comes in at number 2. Numbers are a little down from last year but he is still one of the most dominant big men in the league by far.
1. C Joel Embid (Sixers)
27 PPG 14.2 Rebs 4.5 Assists 4.3 Stocks
Finally we get to number 1, The big man from Philly comes in at 1! First in Rebs per game and 2nd in BPG, Followed up coming in at 10th in MPG as a big man. Hes a do it all player and similar to Jokic last year, i think its time Joel gets his Flowers.
12. PF Kevin Durant (Bucks)
27.8 PPG 8.9 Rebs 2.3 Assists 1.6 Stocks
