I asked about Vassell and each time it felt like it was the majority of this deal.
You traded Wemb and you got the most over priced SG that Yourkers couldn't give away.

If none of those picks are Top 5 picks, its a bad deal, thats just me personally. Wemby is a monsterous talent. I think he could have waited for any upcoming draft and traded Wemby for #1 overall and probably gotten some more out of it too.

I agree, the quantity is eye opening but the quality isn't enough for someone like Wemby. The Pistons pick if they don't have a gm and lose Cunningham is a guarantee top pick. Bucks could be if they lose giannis and KD and Lillard are up their in age. They get two lottos from this draft and who knows if they get lucky with jumping. So it has a chance to really turn into something really good as a return. But for wemb and also getting vassell while losing Beal is a win even if the Spurs hit on the picks. |
