Just to be clear. I included PGs on this list who are playing SG this year
1 Anthony Edwards
Top 3 could really be 1A, 1B, and 1C. It’s splitting hairs picking an order between the top 3 and I just like Edwards overall game the best. I’m sure some people will argue Reeves or Sharpe #1. Edwards defense stands out among the top 10 SGs
2 Austin Reeves
Assists really jump out among the top tier guys and he’s among the best shooters. Has 4mpg on the other top 2 that inflate his stats a little more
3 Shaedon Sharpe
Highest scoring SG in the league and only 22yo!
4 Jalen Green
Jalen has taken that next step after getting paid
5 Devin Booker
C defense and only 1.1 steals holds him back from the top 4 group
6 Devin Vassell
Love the rebounding and 1.1 TOs. Would get more volume on a different team, but it’s really helping his efficiency.
7 Damian Lillard
What a comeback! Thought Dame was cooked last year and has found the fountain of youth. Best FG% and 3P% on the list
8 Cam Thomas
Remains consistent all 3 season. At this point he might be what he is, which is a reliable top 10 SG, but not elite.
9 Terry Rozier
Struggled early, but has bounced back to match is year 1 numbers. Most assists among SGs
10 Dejounte Murray
Struggling to score efficiently at SG, but has a real nice all-around game. Most rebounds+assists on the list
11 Donovan Mitchell
Scoring has dipped for 3rd straight season. TOs are solid, but doesn’t offer much outside of scoring
12 Zach LaVine
FG% is good, but like a lot of guys in this range he doesn’t offer much aside from scoring
13 Monte Leyva
Not quite at the scoring level of the guys around him, but has the nice all-around game. 2nd highest RPG, despite fewest minutes in the top 18 and tied for lowest TOs. Only 5 guys on the list with B or better defense
14 DJ Wagner
For a guy that doesn’t offer much defense, you’d like to see more efficient scoring and higher volume.
15 Isaiah Joe
He came out of nowhere. Honestly should probably be higher, but this %s are nice.
16 Cason Wallace
Doesn’t give you anything but shooting, but he is damn good at it. D+ reb is gross
17 Tyler Herro
League average SG
18 Malik Monk
League average SG
19 Anfernee Simons
League average SG
20 Bodgan Bodgvanovic
League average SG
