Centers:
In terms of FG%, this entire group really stuck out ... in a bad way. I don't think everyone was struggling so much last season. Anyway, Jokic continues to be an offensive force in terms of counting stats. Sarr has improved some more or at least is getting more opportunities to score which is nice. Sengun and Sabonis are really good rebounders and passers for the position. Towns is the one guy who is absolutely just lighting it up that plays as a scoring option for his team.
Power Forwards:
I know last year was quite a joke but Boozer is immediately stepping in and adding some depth to the position. Plus, guys like Filipowski and Tiller look like they could develop into solid players as well. Zion and Mobley are the two probable favorites to represent the West in the all-star game.
Small Forwards:
Jaylen Brown at the top of the list was a bit surprising but he's having a very good season scoring the ball and that is what he is best at. I know Barnes has been struggling a bit, but Murphy and Giddey are continuing to play solid and I think Murray has stepped up a bit. Overall, I really like this group of players. Barnes leading in the rebounding and stocks is really nice. Giddey is a real good facilitator for Minnesota. Murphy has been an absolute sniper in San Antonio.
Shooting Guards:
I was pretty shocked by Bufkin, I don't know if I should have been. Other then that, just kind of like the point guards, the top three guys here are back again from last year and are going to be battling it out for awards. All three: Booker, Reaves and Edwards are absolute fantastic players.
Point Guards:
Just like last year, here we go again at the top. These four guys are absolutely insane and I feel bad that they have to fight each other for two all-star positions. To talk about something else though, it's nice seeing Scoot continue to develop and Bronny looks like he could turn into something solid, he is really filling box scores right now.
