Rookie Season Grade
Grades are based on their TC and stats. This is not a draft grade, but a grade on how well their rookie season has played out.
1. Cameron Boozer – A
a. Almost a perfect rookie season for the #1 overall pick. +3 TC and stats to back up the draft slot
2. Ja’Kobe Walter – B+
a. Only +1. Contributing as a role player in year 1 on a winning team with solid stats across the board.
3. Caleb Wilson – B+
a. +3 although you wish one was for rebounding. Showing offensive efficiency as a 19yo big man.
4. Cody Williams – C
a. Pretty good TC at +2 and already a top notch defender. Lack of playing time for a guy who was drafted this high in part because of his readiness to play having a big impact on his grade.
5. Labaron Philon – C-
a. Showing some scoring ability, but efficiency is bad and his handles are proving he probably doesn’t have a future at PG.
6. Xavier Booker – A-
a. Big TC and proving to be a shot blocking monster as a rookie. Living up to is DPOY potential
7. Dash Daniels** - D+
a. Lost potential and still overseas for additional season.
8. Zaccharie Risacher – A
a. Played 14 games illegally….but he had a great TC and showed some skills but as an out of position PG.
9. Rocco Zikarsky – B-
a. Solid TC and showing some rebounding/defense. Not really showing anything offensively and limited games played.
10. Kiyan Anthony – F
a. Bad TC and he came in as an offensive minded player and has been awful scoring the ball.
11. Airous “Ace” Bailey – C+
a. Definition of average rookie season. +1 TC and just a solid stat line that doesn’t stand out in anyway
12. Koa Peat – B
a. +2 Def in TC was big for him and he’s showing some offensive ability
13. Karter Knox – F
a. Worst TC among all 1st round picks and an awful stat line.
14. Jalen Haralson – B
a. Nice +2 offensive TC. Decent stat line for a 20yo SF rookie
15. Bryson Tiller – B
a. Big +2 Def in TC. Showed solid ability this year as a starter
16. Jasper Johnson – D+
a. Minus offensive TC and showing 35% this year
17. Vrenz Bleijenbergh – C+
a. Good TC but not a great stat line. He was drafted for his overall ability more than his offense and think he has shown some ability.
18. Bryson Tucker – B-
a. Great TC but a lack of playing time brought the grade down a bit
19. DJ Burns Jr. – C+
a. Showing the offensive ability that got him drafted in 1st round, but the lack of TC movement caps his upside considering his age.
20. Xaivian Lee – A-
a. Lee is a starting PG on a playoff team and showing real offensive potential. Great rookie season for him
21. Bassala Bagayoka – D
a. No TC movement or playing time. Maybe he should get an F
22. Jack Gohlke – B
a. Was drafted for his note, but the fact that he improved in TC and is scoring efficiently means he might have an NBN future as a role player which exceeds his expectations.
23. Khani Rooths – C-
a. -1 TC, limited playing time and stats don’t jump out in any category
24. Carter Bryant – C+
a. Good TC going +2 but hasn’t contributed much in his limited playing time
25. Patrick Ngongba II – B
a. Similar to Bryant but has played better in his limited playing time
26. Devin Royal – D+
a. Net zero TC and hasn’t done much in his limited playing time
27. Cameron Carr – C
a. The -1 TC is hurting his grade but has played ok this season
28. Carey Booth – D
a. Negative TC and no playing time
29. Aiden Sherrell – A+
a. Winner of the draft with a +5 rookie season and a great stat line for a rookie. Has real shot blocking potential and showing offensive ability.
