Boston Celtics
Trades made: 11
Players kept since season 1: Nobody
Building through the draft: Caleb Wilson, Matas Buzelis, Jasper Johnson, Nikola Topic
Overall Record: 88-240
Grade: C

Unfortunately, mattfaria and the Celtics do not have anything to show for the last 4 seasons.... In my opinion.... He isn't active enough to build a contender or camp his young players enough to even be better than average. The 11 trades that he has made is pretty minimal IMO if you are going to start with the Celtics and tank to be 88-240 and really not have much to show for at this point. I know and have seen if mattfaria had more time their team would look good and there would be more than 11 trades. Nothing more to really say unfortunately.
Miami Heat
Trades made: 7
Players kept since season 1: Bam Adebayo
Building through the draft: Nobody
Overall Record: 167-161
Grade: C+
The current Heat GM leflop has came into probably one of the bad situations starting out as a GM. The old GM traded all their picks for older players just to try to win Season 1. The GM ended up pretty much disappearing before the season even ended and left the Heat stranded. Honestly I don't know what leflop has been doing since taking over because its been pretty damn bad but hey atleast hes trying.
Brooklyn Nets
Trades made: 8
Players kept since season 1: Nobody
Building through the draft: Nobody
Overall Record: 150-178
Grade: B
Another horrible situation we have here are the Brooklyn Nets. The old GM didn't last 1 season and pretty much left the team in bad shape in my opinion. GoBlue took the team over and it really took him some time to figure out what he wanted to do. In the beginning I really had no idea what he was doing but now with the Darrion Reid trade and 2 lottery picks in the upcoming draft finally shows some kind of good movement going further.
New York Knicks
Trades made: 42
Players kept since season 1: Nobody
Building through the draft: Aday Mara, Rocco Zikarsky, DJ Wagner
Overall Record: 164-164
Grade: Not grading myself (A+)
I'm not really gonna say too much here as this is my team and don't wanna be too biased. However, I have been pretty much tanking for the first 3 seasons of the draft and made playoffs once when I shouldn't have. This is my first actual playoff contender team I have so the 164-164 is actually shocking to me and we should be even better next season and on. In terms of activity I believe I am pretty up there especially being 2nd in trades.
Orlando Magic
Trades made: 13
Players kept since season 1: Nobody
Building through the draft: Cody Williams, Andrej Stojakovic, Xavian Lee
Overall Record: 160-168
Grade: A-
Without too much trades Rog is probably in my opinion the most back and forth from tryin to win to not trying to win we have had up to right now and his overall record shows the same. He has a nice team but it just isn't good enough. Very young but also very raw. Like either trade your great players for more raw and tank or trade your raw players for more great players to compete, idk. Either way Rog is one of the more active GMs in the league in my opinion and is always around so for that reason alone his grade is high.
Philadelphia 76ers
Trades made: 23
Players kept since season 1: Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey
Building through the draft: Nobody
Overall Record: 240-88
Grade: A+
This one probably the easiest one to write of them all. Carlos came in with probably the best C/PG duo in the league by far. He didn't have to do much besides build around those 2 which he did amazingly and has 2 championships to show for. 23 trades is a lot compared to most of the teams in the league and those 23 trade have a lot to show for. Best record in 4 seasons by far, amazing job.
Washington Wizards
Trades made: 8
Players kept since season 1: Daniel Gafford, Bilal Coulibaly, Deni Avdija, Lonzo Ball
Building through the draft: Cooper Flagg, Isaiah Collier
Overall Record: 179-149
Grade: A
Probably the best duo built from the draft we have in the league and Dash has them for a reason. Not many trades but each one made put him toward the right direction every time. I feel like this is their first real contention at a title yet are still 179-149. Their best players are 20 and 21 and just won 61 games which is insane. I have loved every pick they have made as well. If the GM had a little more time and was a little bit more active this would have been an A+
Atlanta Hawks
Trades made: 14
Players kept since season 1: Nobody
Building through the draft: Koa Peat, JaKobe Walter, Carlton Carrington
Overall Record: 126-202
Grade: A-
Vanimmer shockingly has done an amazing job with the Hawks so far. His overall record doesn't show for it but atleast he chose a direction where he wanted to go from season 1 and now just like the Knicks 4 seasons in are finally a contending playoff team. The trade for Tatum was huge and showed they were ready to compete and here they are. Trading for the best SF in the league is always going to propel you especially when the league is so short on them. Not only do they have great players now but they still have very young players who haven't shown their full form. The grade would have been higher if it wasn't for the overall record because vanimmer is very active, responds to PM's, and posts on the forum all the time.
Charlotte Hornets
Trades made: 8
Players kept since season 1: Mark Williams, Nick Richards, LaMelo Ball
Building through the draft: Malik Reneau
Overall Record: 196-132
Grade: B
From looking fully at their roster, to me it seems all they have done from season 1 is trade Brandon Miller and their picks for RJ Barrett and Zach Lavine?? Yuck. verysilentone is exactly what is username says. He's very silent.. 8 silent trades, isn't really active really, doesn't respond to PM's I'm sure. Record would be a lot less if he didn't land a top 3 PG when the league started. He's around here and there but wish he was more active. Grade is a high B only because he didn't move LaMelo.
New Orleans Pelicans
Trades made: 21
Players kept since season 1: Nobody
Building through the draft: Judah Mintz, Lebaron Philon
Overall Record: 185-143
Grade: A+
The GM is a stubborn guy who thinks hes the best GM in the world. What else do I say? For the first 3 seasons his team was elite because of 1 move where he landed Jalen Brunson. Slough made Finals year 1 and then never passed the 2nd round again. Now in year 4 he is retooling and looking to build through FA and the draft. Slough is one of the top active GMs in the league in my opinion, responds to all PMs, has a direction and also a great overall record as of right now. I am a fan of GMs like this, 21 trades as well, Great GMing.
Cleveland Cavaliers
Trades made: 8
Players kept since season 1: Nobody
Building through the draft: Felix Okpara, Joseph Tugler, Jalen Haralson, Drake Powell
Overall Record: 138-190
Grade: B
Another very shitty situation GM Guins had to take over for. The old GM moved all their picks at a shot to win the title season 1 and also disappeared before the end of the season. All Guins really could have done is tank and build from scratch which he has done a pretty good job doing so far. Still too early to give him a full evaluation but I have seen in the past what Guins can do.
Detroit Pistons
Trades made: 9
Players kept since season 1: Ausar Thompson, Jaden Ivey, Cade Cunningham
Building through the draft: Nobody
Overall Record: 152-176
Grade: B
Yet again another team left in a shitty situation. Lucky the original GM didn't really make any moves at all and kept the team still for the next one to take over. I really liked the moves the interim GM made to keep the team and roster intact and would have gotten a higher grade but ever since cop has taken over the team I haven't seen anything at all. Not really active and no real trade talks at all. Not a fan of the big man rotation at all as none of them are really centers and they made no effort to make the roster any better during the whole season.
Indiana Pacers
Trades made: 5
Players kept since season 1: Myles Turner, Isaiah Jackson, Tyrese Haliburton
Building through the draft: Nobody
Overall Record: 200-128
Grade: B+
Indiana Pacers are a team that have made almost no trades since Season 1, just 5. The GM is more active than that but never did what it took to even make the playoffs this year somehow. 200-128 record in the season but has never passed round 2 in the last 3 seasons and now out of playoffs. Def something to worry about for them. However, JR has been huge in trades and FA picking up Franz Wagner and Cam Thomas, they just haven't done well for him. I would love to see a great Pacers roster in Season 5 once everyone is traded but I doubt the GM has what it takes. Grade is where its at due to Overall Record but without that it would fall hard.
Milwaukee Bucks
Trades made: 15
Players kept since season 1: Damian Lillard
Building through the draft: Bruce Thornton
Overall Record: 131-197
Grade: B
Here we have the final team in the East that the old GM left stranded. Currently team is ran by an interim GM and have done a great job running them season 1 and did whatever they could to do what they had to. There isn't much more to write about them as the interim just took over but I would really like to see a new GM come in and make some moves with the squad because this could easily be the worst franchise in the league up to right now.
Toronto Raptors
Trades made: 50
Players kept since season 1: Nobody
Building through the draft: Nobody
Overall Record: 195-133
Grade: A+
Yourkers is probably in my opinion the most active/winning GM (without titles) the league has yet to see. His activity is top elite level, his gming is amazingly good and he knows what hes doing and is around for everything including a nice convo. He leads the league in trades with 50 which is insane and even shocked me when I started doing this. Trading for Wemby prob was the best decision and easiest decision he has made all league long. Hopefully this is the year he finds himself winning his first championship.
