The co leader in back to back to back champs, Embiid is a rare type of player that demands a 5 year max despite being 33 years old. If nothing else this signing signals the end of the 76ers dominance over the last three years, but also gives hope to New York to be the team to topple them. The bad part of the deal is the back end, which could be a problem if Embiid decides to play it out instead of retire - but those are future problems for another day and today the signing is great for the Knicks.

With everyone and their mother putting in a bid for Wemby, it's a sigh of relief for the Raptors to bring him back. One of the best players in the league at any age, he is worth the super max.
2027 181 Trailblazers Sign SG Jalen Hood-Schifino. for $225,000,000 over 5 years.
Grade - C
He's done almost nothing on the court but has pretty sexy ratings. With an 'A' potential holding up a lot of his value, if it drops in TC without any noticable improvements then Hood-Schifino could become an albatross for the struggling Blazers.

They needed some firepower from the guards and 'Dame Time' has been known to provide it, but at 37 years old and on a steep decline I don't know that he's worth a multi year deal at this point in his career.

This guy was so amazing at Alabama that the Knicks decided to drop a max contract on him despite doing almost nothing the past four years. He can shoot, that's for sure - but can he do anything else?

Bringing back a key piece to last year's deep playoff run. Kristaps is only signed for one year which entirely eliminates any downside to this contract.
