Knicks Accept. I wanted Claxton gone asap. This is the best Claxton offer I had on the table. It completely gets me rid of any cap hell I would have in the future, gives me back my 2031 first and another young 7’2 Center for me to build on. Also saves me $2500 in luxury tax as I go from -49m to - 7m or so Sorry @carlos. Our deal would have been better for me RIGHT NOW ONLY but the players you were giving me would not be on my roster anyway next season while Yang will be and also I rather get my own pick back then one of yours. Like I’ve said, I want to build my team thru the draft and Claxton was just taking minutes away from rocco mara staton while taking too much money that I couldnt afford Looking to move Donovan Mitchell too for the right deal as well because hes too old and taking away from DJ Wagner.
