So, after all that OT, work is putting me on a performance improvement plan (probably a budget cut with no shot to win) and I'm likely getting let go in August.

Gonna be busy applying and I'm gonna actually do some OT at work just in the 5% chance they actually keep me. Might as well try, you know?

Anyways, fuck that place. I got high blood pressure cause of that shit.

yep, Feb it was all "hey thanks for making this deliverable for a client at midnight", etc

Yesterday? They spent 100% saying I suck and I pushed bad code for a major service when imo that was like 50% the UAT testing team's fault. 3 managers approved that code and one of the mistakes was actually obvious.

I mogged the director with no expression on my face lmao. Bro was more nervous than me. I took it in the chin. I know I worked hard and my coworkers do too. Even if they keep me, I don't wanna be here.

Unfortunately, the economy isn't good enough to keep mid employees, which is what I am. Very average.

Got told by higher ups I'm performing well above expectations, then got blamed for a senior manager not doing proper code review (a really obvious mistake in hindsight) and got blasted in a review. I get one more review but most likely out of a job, boys.

Wanna know if I'm in the wrong for thinking this? They tell us code review is on the manager then blame the junior when there's a mistake. I found a 5+ year old bug in their code at the same time, too lol.
