1. Judah Mintz has all the looks of the next star SG in the league. How did he become so good and will you max him this offseason?
I am good at finding Diamonds in the rough, and of course I will as he can still be Super Camped, crazy as it sounds. I think he will break the bank on a resign or I will break the bank trying to get him back.
2. Outside of AJ at #1, McCain looks like the best pick in the draft so far. Did you expect him to be this good this early?
McCain was my pick all along after scouting, why I won't trade even though Knicks keeps asking ever week.
3. Labaron Philon has obviously taken a back seat to Mintz and McCain, but doesn't look great after 2 TCs. Where you expecting more from him?
He is fine and I plan for a top 8-9 team, you don't get All Stars for every pick, but one thing I learned is you need depth.
4. With your pick and a couple late 1sts on the books this upcoming draft, what type of player will you be looking for?
Probably all guards.
5. Free agency is obviously a crap shoot, but you will have a shit ton of it this year. What will be your goal going into FA with all your cap space?
Depends on Mintz contract, but a lot.
6. It seems like we have over half of the league not actively trying to compete. This has always been an issue, but can you think of a way to incentivize teams to try and win a bit more
Yeah, it sucks, and i am competing next year. I promised I would compete on time, and I warned those gm's I was coming.
7. There have been some huge trades since the start of the new league that have netted 6, 7, or 8 firsts for a player. Do you think the value of a first rounder has decreased or are teams just star hunting while inflation hasn't kicked in yet?
It has, I would never trade that many picks for a player, especially my own, but its a love affair for one player I see.
8. PGs still reign supreme in FBB's eyes, but the value of a big man has stayed super high with the new league. If you had to choose between a guy like Tyrese Maxey or Victor Wembanyama to start your team with, who would it be and why?
This early in the seasons, Wemb, however, PG in future, so far in this league SG or SF though.
9. All of the top rookies had pretty good TCs to start their careers. With your current roster build, if you could take any rookie off another team, who would it be and why?
Probably AJ, but I love my pick.
10. Give me your East winner, West winner, and Champsionship winner predicitons half way through the season?
East: Raptors
West: Lakers
Champ: Raptors
