1. Aftert a slow start, your team has somewhat come around and begun winning more. What do you think the reasoning was for the slow beginning?
Ive been panicking way too early . Started messing around with the dc: Giannis or Koa, Sharper or Walter?
Should have just stayed patient and tweak pace a bit. Which i now did in the end. Sharpes number have been climbing up since then to a respectable 17p now.
2. Giannis has been pretty bad after coming over to Atlanta. What has been the reason why he has played so poorly?
Im just bringing him of the bench. I think i had way too much scoring after bringing him over. They were taking shots away from each other. Tatum, sharpe, careington, giannis and then even zubac scoring 15. A game. Now i have more balance in the lineup.
3. Ja'Kobe Walter has had 2 nice TCs to start his career and looks primed to take off in a season or 2. What do you think his ceiling is?
He is my starting sg of the future. Been trying to trade sharpe or Tatum to get him the starting spot.
4. Koa Peat looks like a really nice draft pick so far. Do you see any time where he may take over Giannis with both players having 3 years left on their deals?
Giannis will mentor Koa next offseason and will then be put in the trademarket. Koa is our pf of the future.
5. Carrington is struggling again after having a pretty good year last year. What's been the reason behind his struggles for the first half of the season?
No clue. Im in a love- hate relationship with him. Sometimes i think he is finally turning into the player i hoped for and other times im considering just letting him walk this offseason. Frustrating for sure.
6. It seems like we have over half of the league not actively trying to compete. This has always been an issue, but can you think of a way to incentivize teams to try and win a bit more?
With only 10 or so gms beiing really active it is hard to not have those tanking teams. Ive been in some leagues where you had to make playoffs every so many season or you would be fired: didnt work. Need atleast 20 wins is one rule that might have a small impact but even then. Bottomteams will try and get the best chance on a toppick so ..
7. There have been some huge trades since the start of the new league that have netted 6, 7, or 8 firsts for a player. Do you think the value of a first rounder has decreased or are teams just star hunting while inflation hasn't kicked in yet?
I dont think so. Just got Sanon at 22 last season. Really nice talent in deep drafts so value is there. Id never trade that many 1 sts far out but i am a cautious man.
8. PGs still reign supreme in FBB's eyes, but the value of a big man has stayed super high with the new league. If you had to choose between a guy like Tyrese Maxey or Victor Wembanyama to start your team with, who would it be and why?
Now Wembanayama but if they had the same age i would take Maxey every day.
9. All of the top rookies had pretty good TCs to start their careers. With your current roster build, if you could take any rookie off another team, who would it be and why?
Dj is the guy for sure. I liked Ariza, Harper and Mc Cain but Dybantsa will be the best of the pack.
10. Give me your East winner, West winner, and Champsionship winner predicitons half way through the season?
Raptors vs Grizzlies and im giving it to Raptors if they make it out lf the east.
