2028 181 76ers Sign C Nikola Jokic for $315,000,000 over 5 years.
Grade: B
One of the best and most successful basketball players of all time, Jokic figures to play at a high level for the rest of his career and although 63 mil a year is a lot for anyone, it might be worth it to bring back the 3 time MVP and keeps the 76ers in the picture as title contenders for at least a couple more seasons.

Grade: B
While his ppg might be inflated by being the only scorer on a bad team, Mintz checks all of the other boxes you need in a max player. Volume scoring, high shooting percentages, low turnovers, and plenty of rebounds make Judah Mintz a rising star in this league.

A former top draft pick that has had the label of "bust" thrown around a few times and that may come true if his 'B' potential doesn't improve his scoring in TC. There's no way a career 15ppg scorer is worth a max contract, but if he can get up to 20+ ppg then his defense and playmaking ability could make him a serviceable PG on a winning team.

Not sure if the 32 year old is worth this much. Maybe in his 20's, but at 32 I think he has maybe one more year at his current level of production and then this contract is going to hurt more than it helps.

The grade of a C might feel generous here for this albatros, but Book has been one of the league's best SGs and scorers for a long time and Phoenix needed to get him back at all costs. The full max is a little ridiculous, but it makes sense for a Phoenix team that needs talent more than financial flexibility.

Mara was the best signing of the first day. A 23 year old defensive centerpiece for any organization comes at a small cost of just a max contract from the Nuggets.

One of the best inside scoring and rebounding players in the league, his lack of defense is the only thing holding him back from elite status - but the Thunder have reigning 2 time Defensive Player of the Year, Victor Wembenyama to help compensate for Sabonis's shortcomings. I hope he has a successful future of making the playoffs and getting eliminated by the Kings for the next 3 seasons.

A hefty dollar amount to throw at an aging player past his prime, if TC doesn't hurt him too bad then he still may have another solid year or two left.

Unproven but clearly talented, George looks like an MLE type player right now but could play himself into a bigger contract over the next three years.

The Clippers needed some depth and OG gives them a solid option coming off the bench at a reasonable price.
