What made you want to make some bigger changes this offseason? Well, I didn't really plan on it. Planned on building around Ariza and being fine with that. Then an opportunity presented to acquire Wemby and it felt like a no brainer. Get the best big man in the league and then worry about the rest later. After that, it was just surrounding him with talent. |

are you happy with the success so far of Bronny or were you hoping for more? I'd say I'm a bit underwhelmed. I drafted him with his outside shooting as a serious flaw and that has been fixed. He has the ratings under the hood that prove he should be a better scorer than he is. Unfortunately, in all the lineups I've put him in, he's my 4th option, so the scoring hasn't been there. Although he has a great SG build, I really wish he would have developed the handles to start at PG. He would have been really good there. This season will be a big test to see if he's our SG of the future. |

Do you regret breaking up the SGA/Giddey/Chet trio? Definitely didn't get the right value for SGA, but that was right after the league started and his 3 point shooting jumped dramatically one or two TCs in. I didn't love what he looked like in early scouts for what I was trying to do. I traded Giddey in a deal that netted me Tatum, so no regrets there. And then I think I got legit value for Chet, which ultimately allowed me to get Wemby, so no. There was absolutely no way I was keeping that trio together long enough for them to all see their primes in the same uniform. Just not possible with the way I play the game. In hindsight, they would have been fun to all be together right now with other pieces built in. |

We’ve only played 2 good teams, but I do love that we’re blowing out pretty much everyone. I knew we’d be good, but I think I had just hoped we’d be able to play at this level. If bronny and risacher keep up their numbers, we should be really tough to beat. |

I think we have a good enough team to win it all so I’d be disappointed if we didn’t at least get close. I’m always looking to deal, but I’m going to try my best to not make any rash decisions. I worry some about not having another top tier 3rd scoring option, but we’ll see how the season progresses. |
