I would like to thank carlos for answering these questions, unfortunately he sent after I posted roundtable but as promised I said I will post whoever else decided to answer some even if late.
1. FA and Draft is now over and the season is about to begin, who do you think is an early GMOTY candidate so far and why?
I think the early candidates are Thunder & Pelicans. The Thunder added Wemby which automatically makes him a contender for a long time and the Pelicans put together a really good team around Mintz & McCain without giving up much.
2. What is your current season goal and 3 year goal moving forward?
The goal is to win a championship. I think I have a shot but I'm having trouble improving the team with so many big contracts and few assets to trade. Within 3 years, I hope to have won my 4th title and then either resign Maxey to keep going or start a rebuild once I start having my picks again.
3. It looks like we are about to start getting some really good retro players coming into the draft, who are you really excited to see come into the league soon and why?
It seems like we're going with random classes, so not sure when everyone will join but I'd be excited for Alonzo Mourning & Dwyane Wade. Growing up a Heat fan, those were the guys that made me love basketball so it would be fun to have them in the league.
4. I tried my hardest and brought some fresh new blood to the league and all of them are active and highly interested, how do you think this will affect the league now and what have you already seen better than how its been for about the last 2-3 seasons?
I think it's great to have some new blood in the league. We all generally know how each other operate, so it's always good to throw some curveball with GMs that at least I don't know. They all seem pretty invested so far, so I think it'll be good for the league to have less interims and more full time guys.
5. Out of all the newer GMs that have joined recently, who has impressed you the most and which do you think has done the best job up to this point?
I know he was part of the last NBN, but I've been really impressed with Cheddar's work with the Warriors so far. He has a really good 1-5 and all of them are young. He's got them set up to compete for a while.
6. After TC, Which player if any were you upset you may have passed on in the draft?
I haven't really drafted much this version of the league so this doesn't really apply to me. I had a few guys I wanted in the last draft like Raiest on the Celtics and Avery Johnson who I ended up with in FA but wish I had him on a multi year deal.
7. Who do you think will win the West and East and who do you think will be our champion this year and why?
I'll go with a repeat of last year, 76ers-Grizzlies with us coming out on top this time. I think the league is as competitive as ever though so I wouldn't be surprised by a few teams.
8. Final Question and unrelated, Draft and FA is now done in NBA as well, do you think next season will be Boston again in the Finals and a repeat or do you think somebody else wins a championship next year?
I'll take anyone but Boston. I think the Sixers could be fun, the Thunder look great and have a ton of pieces to make moves. Maybe Minnesota builds on their great season this year. Really, just anyone but the Celtics.
