2028 NBN Western Conference Playoffs Round 2
#1 Sacremento Kings [69-17] vs #5 Utah Jazz [48-40]
"Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in while" or so the expression goes. I must say I about nailed the complete 1st rounds of the playoffs. Certainly went 100% in the Western Conference winners and games played overall. But enough stroking my ego cause it likely won't happen again. However, this injury to the league MVP De'Aaron Fox might increase those odds. It is sometimes funny reading the injuries in the league. Vision is important and I understand a scratched cornea isn't something to take lightly, but in the world of make believe I say depth perception be damned. I'd rather have a one-eyed De'Aaron Fox taking shots than whoever the hell is Garway Dual. At least Dual performed admirably in Game 4 against the Warrirors, but is that enough to hold off a similiar but deeper Jazz roster. Don't want to bet on it. It'll come down to the Claxton and Sherrell being absolute bullies cause Murray's offense won't be enough. The kings are on a 16 game win streak and it's about to all be crumbling down.

#2 Vancouver Grizzlies [61-25] vs #3 Oklahoma City Thunder [68-18]
This is the series I find to be the bigger toss up of the four. So that means it'll either end in a devastating sweep or gentleman's sweep. Both teams have been on a tear since the 2nd half of the season. The boz scores have been a little funky for me once again, so it's difficult to say what is accurate in previous matchups. The schedule shows a score and the box score gives something else. Don't know what's true, but if there is any vote of confidence that the box scores seem to give is that the Thunder can't slow down all the Girzzlies offensive weapons. A guarantee of at least one of either Shai, Leyva, Zion, or Sarr will go off on any given night and I don't believe the Thunder have enough offensive fire power to match. Wemby and Brunson will need to match three of the players named above combine, and pray for great defense or a piss poor shooting night. I am downplaying a lot of what the the Thunder are as a team. Going through the team stats page them and the Grizzlies are closely linked. The big seperator seems to be rebounding and the turnovers. Will be interested to see if these are the key components in every this series. I really want this one to go 7.
