2028 NBN Eastern Conference Playoffs Round 2
#1 New Orleans Pelicans [65-24] vs #4 Philadelphia 76ers [61-26]
Call me a Pharisee or whatever else is the equivalent. I reject this parish of Lousiana and will continue to do so unless they win the ship. The Pelicans are a false idol and so what if the Cavs still lost. They took them to 7, an 8th seed mind you. Now it's the king of this conference, the Philadelphia 76ers. They've Tyrese Maxey and the Joker at the helm. Box scores still wonky, couldn't accuratley say who did good. What I will say is that combo is far better than any trio that the Cavs tossed out there. In truth these teams seem far more even than I'll claim them to be. But I ain't no punk bitch, I claim something then I'll stand by it, and the Pelicans are trash. Maxey, Jokic, and Bane will get what they want. Players like Markkanen, Sengun, and Vasell will be irrelevant. I'll give one extra win more than I should.

#2 Orlando Magic [63-23] vs #3 Washington Wizards [63-26]
I wanted to see this series as another toss up like between the Grzzlies vs Thunder, but I think the Magic have just been too good since acquiring Anthony Edwards. The offense if great and everything likely hinges on a healthy Jalen Duren, but I don't think the Wizards have enough pieces to compete in this series. I do like the Wizard's front court pieces a lot, certainly way better than the pairngs with Duren, especially offensively. However, the key piece here should probably be Trae Young. On the Wizards offense they've really only got Collier and Caulibaly at the guards and wing postion. The Magic showcase a duo of league top 10 scorers Xaivian Lee and Anthony Edwards plus 18 off the bench from Trae Young with Cody Williams 14 on great shooting percentages. As long as Duren doesn't let Cooper Flagg torch the place, I see this series as a relativley easy cake walk.
