Well, where do we begin.... It really sucks that I have to move on from Wagner but I believe focusing the team on defense is very important at this stage with this roster. Wagner and Ingram were scoring 50 points combined but were allowing 60+. With this deal and my Topic deal I am getting rid of 2 huge max contracts and picking up some nice contracts.
I am very glad I am able to mentor JaKobe with Wagner as I am a huge fan of his. B+ defense from Carrington and B from JaKobe. Tatum is going to hopefully put up about 25 and we won't be hurt too much losing Wagners scoring. After this year, my starting lineups defense with Aristode will be A- A- A- B+ A- at worst. Good luck grabbing rebounds on us as well as Peterson/Carrington/JaKobe all 3 are very good at rebounding and have 3 A- rebounders with them.

I also believe this 12 man roster I have right now is dangerous defensively and offensively.
I think this is the best roster all around I’ve had in 7 seasons

Im having trouble seeing the invested heavily in youth. Starting lineup is older than Hawks and Pelicans I mean you traded two vets for multiple youth(Walter, Peterson, Carrington). You're going to start a bottom half SG, an average at best big, and a 18 and 8 PG that got worse in TC. I think you win 45 or so games but at this point I think it's point blank impossible for you to objectively claim you are anywhere near the 5 teams mentioned. |

Acting like I didn’t add a B+ A 25ppg SF to match Wagners scoring and acting like our defense being 20 times better doesnt make a difference than yeah we will lose 10 games more than last year. |
