Good afternoon sir, names Seamus O’Callahan, Boston Globe.
You seem to have some youth and some prime talent mixed nicely together, so what are you expectations for this roster this year?

Good afternoon sir, names Seamus O’Callahan, Boston Globe. You seem to have some youth and some prime talent mixed nicely together, so what are you expectations for this roster this year? Ship or bust of course, this roster can only last the season and I decided to take a gamble and trade for a guy like Bam Adebayo to supply more point and rebounding. If I had the cash I'd consider tossing him a couple of then old man camps and see if I can get his rebounding back to a B+. Him, Bane , or Haliburton are likely gone next season, more or less depending on where Stoudamire's development has taken him.

Do you still deal for haliburton? Yeah, otherwise I might've taken Mitch Richmond. They had the same exact jump shot 3pt ratings, but Richmond had the inside and higher potetnial. Haliburton is still a top PG and provides the mentor camp, hopefully this just allows me to move off of after this season or next. Btw what's the toy of the month?

Why did you tank only 1 year for josh leonard? Bored and Haliburton came available with the new GM, even after that I had lots of cap space to play with, which got used resigning Okpara and signing Desmond Bane. Honestly last offseason could've ended in lots of different ways for me, especially if I had landed other more possible signings. Still a bit upset about striking out on Claxton, offered up 5 years for $250m, made it worse by going through the hassel of clearing up an extra 8m in cap space just for the shot to sign him, Bane, and Okpara. Shame he decided an extra $6-7m a year was more appetizing than an extra 80-something million.

How far do you you think you can go in playoffs this year? Even if I manage to land home court in round 1, I don't like my odds of getting past round 1, only shot is if I face the Wizards, given their ongoing pattern they're set to get upset again this season, and if I do manage to win, I am likely guaranteed a 2nd round exit.

Why did you trade for Bam and that huge contract?

Why did you trade for Bam and that huge contract? Wanted a big that'd rebound and put points on the board, and since I'm being stingy with my drafted prospects I went for someone on the board in which the GM would be happy to do away with, and not ask for anything in return. He provides a solid amount of stocks and rebounding, I was more or less counting on higher offensive production, hoping for at least around that 18ppg, and it's been a slow start and he's starting to pick it up. Early season he was battling foul trouble with the DCs I threw out. If I had the money I'd toss 1K into giving him that old man strength camp. I'd assume his strength is what's got him down and that +10 would do him wonders. It'd at least boost his rebounding grade. Overall I'm not too fussed about the contract, I've got a slew of prospects I'm happy with that give me options this upcoming offseason, if I can't move off Bam, I think a possible Haliburton or Bane move could bring nice returns. But the hope would be to move him this offseason, and I'd declare he'd bring great value to an tanking or looking to tank team. He's eligible for mentoring, and while he doesn't provide a potential boost, he'd likely be contribuiting to Inside scoring, jump shot, and post defense which would help some young players build imo.

Ooo, honestly hard to say at the moment. I didn't give Acuff and honest look during the preseason, so I couldn't tell you what's actually improved from last season. I will say though, as a point guard I'm likely going Stoudamire, better shooting, higher assists. Turnovers was surpringly a bit of an issue though, bung around high-twos to ?mid-threes in TOPG. As an overall player and hopefully an 6th man type of piece, I'd have to take Acuff, I like what he can provide in scoring and defensively I think he is more solid than Stoudamire currently is, but all-in-all I just hope at least one of them develops into an legit star.
