1. With Season 9 officially beginning, what are your expectations after going 6-3?
I was expecting a rebuilding season, that's one of the reasons why I traded Scott and reacquired this seasons 1st round pick. How quickly things change in FBB land , now I may end up being a buyer and not a seller.
2. Giddey and Harper look to be playing very well together, how happy are you with their early success?
I've been banking on Giddey continuing to do his thing , very solid yet unspectacular play. I have been waiting on Harper to take that next step in his progress..and this may be the year he breaks through to finally be in the running to be an All Star.
3. Are there any additional moves you are trying to make for this season?
At this very moment I've had some serious talks with a few teams about trying to acquire a legit Front Court presence which this team desperately needs.
4. Who do you think needs to take the extra step in order for your team to play even better?
Id Love to see Topic start to play better , get more assists , and just be more consistent. Leonard is an interesting player , who is putting up some really nice numbers as a 6th man Wing/Front Court player.
5. You came into this season trying to tank, has that changed and why?
Yes a bit , but it's too early to tell , uts only been 2 or 3 sims , alot can change in just 5-10 days.
6. I just brought in 2 GM's to fill up the league again finally, what are your thoughts of the 2 new GMs if you are familiar with them?
Swope is going to be a really great addition to the league , very good GM...experienced FBB guy, not sure whoever else was brought in that i may know.
7. My New York Knicks are currently 6-1, do you think we might actually be good or is it a fluke?
Ive been telling you the entire offseason that your team was too good to tank. Im not sure if you will keep up this kind of pace winning % wise , but i do see your squad as a playoff team in the East.
8. My LA Lakers in real life started the season 3-0 and are now 3-2, do you think Lakeshow are back or were the first 3 games a fluke?
Fluke , core is just too old, plus myself, I don't honestly believe in JJ Reddick as a good coach. Add on to me not liking LeBum at all. Too many injuries usually attach themselves to the Brow as well.
Add all of this up..i can see them maybe as a playoff in team..thats about it.
9. Who do you think currently has the best chance to win the championship this year and why? (NBN and NBA)
NBN..The Magic are my pick , they are strong acrossed the board. Not any real weaknesses that I see.
NBA - The Celtics may make a run at a Repeat , the depth on that team is really good.
10. Which team do you think will be a force in the league in the next 2-3 years that isn't a force already? (NBN and NBA)
NBN - Your team i will keep an eye on , and the Celtics have done a good job rebuilding a solid young core. Lakers with Spike at the helmet always seem to build and keep a solid core. Along with the Grizz , Sixers and Kings.
NBA - OKC looks legit , if they stay healthy..who knows how far they can go.
11. With us fully into retro now, who is your favorite retro player yet to enter the league and why?
I have a Few , MJ (the GOAT) ,TMac ( he has helped me win titles in a few leagues including yours) AI , always fun to have , and of course Kobe
12. Boston Celtics (naterade) won GMOTY last season, who do you think is in the early running this season?
Too early to call , I know myself , I wait to see what moves change the scope of the league during the season. Big or smart moves always decide that for me.
