Another late one but oh well...
1. With Season 9 officially 1/4 in, what are your expectations after going 2-13?
I'm disappointed in my defense. I thought we would be better. Guess that's what happens when I don't have a good lead guard. Other than that, I'm very happy.
2. Do you see yourself competing once all these oversees players come to the league or continue to tank?
Tank it until I'm happy with my players. I'm going to process this and prove that the process doesn't work.
3. Are there any additional moves you are trying to make for this season?
I've been told I need cash. I will try to obtain said cash/
4. Who do you think will be the best player on your team once everyone is out of euro league?
Yes. If I'm lucky, I'll grab another foreigner this draft class and continue to acquire talent. Patience is key.
5. Do you see yourself picking more oversees players that can't play or finally picking someone whos ready to go now?
I think it will be Langour, because he came from the most hyped draft class and should have the best ratings. If he doesn't, I'm in major trouble.
6. After looking at the potential draft class, who are you hoping declares for the draft?
Jason Williams. Mike Bibby. Larry Hughes.
7. My New York Knicks are currently 9-7 after starting 6-1, do you think we might actually be good or was the 6-1 start a fluke?
You are a good GM. I think you will turn it around.
8. My LA Lakers in real life started the season 3-0 and are now 4-2, do you think Lakeshow are back or were the first 3 games a fluke?
I think they will be in the lottery. I have no faith in the lakers team and their best player is horrible and should belong in a nursing home.
9. Who do you think currently has the best chance to win the championship this year and why? (NBN and NBA)
NBN I think it will be the Kings. They have the highest ceiling and have the pedigree. In the NBA, my pick to win the championship is going to be the Suns. I think they will finally have some health and luck go their way.
10. Which team do you think will be a force in the league in the next 2-3 years that isn't a force already? (NBN and NBA)
I really love the young players that the wizards have and I think that they will eventually have a good team. they deserve it. I'm also a big fan of who the rockets drafted in NBN. If I had did things differently, I would love to build around osayuri.
11. With us fully into retro now, who is your favorite retro player yet to enter the league and why?
I really hope I get to draft Darryl Dawkins and build around him. I also have a soft spot for McDyess, Chris Gatling, and David Wesley.
12. Boston Celtics (naterade) won GMOTY last season, who do you think is in the early running this season?
I think the fact that the Sixers are this good this long into the league is amazing. I would say them for sure.
