This is an easy yes. He's was drafted 26th in the creation Draft, and was the first really sought after FA, he was on some great Grizzlies teams and paired up with Dirk for a couple of titles. He was incredibly close to Joining the TWOLVES and I'm sure had I pulled that deal off I would have won a title in the leagues 3rd season (injuries not withstanding). So no quarrel with Webber being inducted, and as far as my opinion (more on that in a second) should be a 100% slam dunk inductee. My issue,(and I realize that it's my issue not necessarily anyone elses) is that the poll should simply offer a yes or a no. I don't know that any commentary is needed. The poll for Webber gives a Yes vote or a No-I'm an idiot option. The role of the HoF is to provide a case for each candidate providing information and unbiased statistics so each of our voters can make an informed decision about whom should be enshrined in our leagues Hall of Fame. Adding the rider to the no vote could possibly push voters to make a choice they wouldn't normally make were they unprovoked. Also the polls are not secret, who votes for whom is public record. I voted for Penny Hardaway to be a HoFer (which Im aware is not a popular selection) and I was called out to explain my reasoning, which I will do. This is just a little problematic IMO as people should be able to vote how they want without fear of being called out for not siding with the majority. Great Write up, can't wait to see the Write up for Ray Allen whom was stolen from me in the creation draft! Called out? Jesus Christ dude why are you so fucking defensive. Holy fuck, trying to drum up discussuon but will never happen again. If you cant stand by your vote and want to hide by anonymity then that's an issue. I'm a huge hard liner for transparency in all voting for awards and hall of fame in real life and I don't see why here would be any different. Saying I called you out is beyond laughable, I honestly only asked your reasoning because you were the only yes vote at that time and it would be cool to see the other side. As for the other part, if Webber literally wasn't the most slam dunk candidate ever, I would have never included the misnomer at the end, because yes it could sway votes. However, this was again such a slam dunk that I felt some injection of humor, which can be found in the entire writeup, was warranted. My bad for having some fun with such a cut and dry writeup. This is fairly shitty. Never at any point did I say that I wanted to hide behind an anonymous vote. My point in bringing up the votes being visible is this very scenerio. If votes are visible then anyone with a dissenting opinion will be called upon to explain their feelings. I've never been disrespectful to anyone in this league. And the way I've been attacked, for simply stating my opinion recently is ridiculous. One GM told me I was the rudest GM AND the most difficult to work with because they sent me a trade offer that I felt was a bad offer. I didn't attack him back but I did (in a passive aggressive manner) post their quote in my signature. Eventually they asked me to remove it without ever apologizing for what I felt was an unwarranted attack and reaction. I took it down as a sign of respect. I can post the entire PM thread with the name redacted. If I act like a dick, I'll admit it. But that situation as well as this one where I never attacked anyone is too much for me to handle right now. Apparently expressing ones opinion is not allowed. I never said don't add the commentary after the vote, just that it was weird. I never said you did a terrible job, on the contrary I stated in the response that it was a GREAT Write up. Rog I know you from here and from SLOR, but this is pretty shitty bro. I guess I know how I'm perceived around here.

I never said you said I did a terrible job. I just wanted to drum up discussion and them got heated over something I shouldn't have. I'm sorry. I stand behind everything I'm that post besides how aggressive I got at you. I'm sorry for that.

Absolutely yes. Most dominant big in league history potentially. With the winning gene that guys like Duncan couldn't put together. Easy yes

Man he is what every GM wants in a big man. No doubter yes here -- and im a huge buckeye fan too so i hate any player from scUM.
An elite rim protector and rebounder, and he also was very efficient on the offensive end. Career 82% shooter for PF/C is amazing and he even shot 46% for his career from the field. No doubter here again

I totally disagree with this, I have no problem with a little personality and flavor in the league....this isn't a Senate meeting, it's a sim league and we're all here to have fun. Being called out for not siding with the majority is also something I would encourage for discussion. Discussion is interesting, different opinions are interesting, "Yes" and "No" is boring.

As for the vote, obvious yes here. Webber was amazing and it is interesting that he fell to 26th in the creation draft but that was mostly due to his impending FA status with no bird years so the team who drafted him wasn't guaranteed to keep him for long. Here's a pretty interesting thread about Webber when he was put on the trade block shortly after signing with the Griz: nothinbutnetleague.proboards.com/thread/821/chris-webbernot that hard 2 get this superstar A Hard Cap and those type of contracts to steal a 29 year old? only a very poor GM is going to take Webber on. I'll just say the offer I liked the most and came close to going with was from the Twolves. The worst you already seen, Bradley and Rice and ya yours was defiantly one of the better ones

Automatic yes. Was a complete stud. Do it all big. Was fun to figure out between him and Duncan on who would win MVP. He the reason the grizz took that step into becoming a true contender. Don't think there much else to say.

Yes - one of the best two way players to grace the NBN. It's a toss up between him and Duncan for me as the best big.

Chris Webber has been inducted to the NBN Hall of Fame
