The 41st nominee of the NBN Hall of Fame, Corey Maggette, was a good, at times great, scorer and overall player. Was he more than just a good here and there player, or was he just good at a few, great at nothing and therefore not qualified for the Hall of Fame? Lets take a look.

Arguments For Induction
- Was never an All-Star and named to an All-League Team but had some seasons where he might have, but the position was STACKED. Can't hold that against him.
- Was a pretty damn good scorer. For nine straight seasons he scored around 20 points or more a game, including a few seasons 23+ a game. That has to count for something. He also shot decently with a 45/83/39 slash line. Thats damn solid.
- For a shooting guard, Maggette was a really good rebounder. He averaged 7 rebounds a game for his nine year prime, hard to top that.
- He also was a solid passer for a non point guard as well. While only averaged 2.8 for his career during that 9 year prime he was a 3.5 assist guy.
- Seriously, Corey was the whole package, for that 9 years he did 20 points, 7 rebounds, 3.5 assists and did it while not turning it over, shooting pretty well, and added solid defense to it as well. That is a damn solid shooting guard that any team should be happy to have.
Arguments Against Induction
- Keeping this pretty short, just a couple points here. First of all no awards, no titles, no nothing. Period. You can't get inducted with that, its just that simple.
- Second, and lastly, its just good, not great. What? Literally everything. He did nothing great, except maybe keep his turnovers down. He never won any titles, never won any awards, he didn't have any elite stats, where is his case? It legit doesn't exist. You can't be a Hall of Famer with anything Maggette has on his resume.
Vote carefully, and remember to throw out arguments regardless of which side you're on. This should be a discussion that eventually gets the league to the proper decision on him. Your vote can also be retracted after it's been cast if you feel like switching to the other side based on the arguments that have been made. To be inducted, a player needs 70% and to be considered in a later class they need 50%. Vote carefully!
***BONUS - Don't forget that everyone who votes gets $25 and the person that makes the best argument or contributes to the discussion the best will be awarded an extra $25***
