One of a few people with the ability to make the case as greatest player in league history, the 47th nominee of the NBN Hall of Fame Tracy McGrady isn't a question whether or not he should make it into the Hall of Fame. The question to be asked is, was he the greatest player to ever? Let's take a look.

Argument For Induction
- McGrady played in 13 All-Star Games over the course of his career. He was named to two All-Defensive Second and one first team. He also was named to seven All-League Second and two first teams.
- T-Mac might have been the best scorer in league history, until of course KD trounces on all his career records. He averaged 29.4 points a game and never averaged less than 24 and had seven seasons where he averaged 30 or more points a game. Also, he only ya know... is the all-time leader in points scored over their career. Nothing major.
- Not only did T-Mac score in ungodly volume, he also did it with out of this world efficiency, with a crazy 47/90.7/43.4 slash line that actually is brought down by his first two seasons that would look closer to 47.5/92/44.5 after that. Just crazy. Oh and he leads All-Time in field goals made and three pointers made. Just T-Mac things.
- He was also a fantastic passer, averaging 4.2 for his career and again his first and last season brought that down a bit, during his crazy seven year "Peak" he was over 4.5 most years.
- Wasn't an elite defender, but was solid as hell nonetheless. He gave you 2.5 stocks a game for his career and touched and passed 3 a game in a few seasons. And given his rating was always above A- you know he was good on ball.
- Amazingly consistent when it comes to being on the floor, never missing 10 games or more. In fact he only missed 32 games in his 15 year career, just over 2 a year. That is crazy, he owns the record for most games played in league history, a record that will surely fall over the next season or two.
- Overall, with a prime stat line of 30/7/4.5/2/0.7 on limited turnovers and crazy good percentages with two titles, plenty of awards, and some crazy elite counting stats, there is no doubt that T-Mac is a Hall of Famer. Only question is was he the GOAT?
Arguments Against Induction
- There is no argument to keep him from the Hall of Fame, but in the question of is he the GOAT, hes not right? Only 8 total All-League teams? 3 Defensive teams? Average rebounder? Only two titles despite the Rockets teams that were solid as hell. There are some things missing here from him being the GOAT, but he was damn good and deserves his spot in the Hall of Fame.
Vote carefully, and remember to throw out arguments regardless of which side you're on. This should be a discussion that eventually gets the league to the proper decision on him. Your vote can also be retracted after it's been cast if you feel like switching to the other side based on the arguments that have been made. To be inducted, a player needs 70% and to be considered in a later class they need 50%. Vote carefully!
***BONUS - Don't forget that everyone who votes gets $25 and the person that makes the best argument or contributes to the discussion the best will be awarded an extra $25***
