Just wanna get this straight... does winning a ring make all the difference when it comes to what team a guy goes to the hall of fame with? Its not a big deal, but it seems like a lot of you think this way and it reminds me of guys like Ray Allen and KG spending their last couple seasons in Boston to get a ring or Jason Kidd in Dallas. Does this mean KG and Ray go to the hall as Celtics and Kidd goes as a Mav? I don't know.. Just kind of surprising to me after multiple dominant seasons in both Chicago and Milwaukee most of you guys think he should enter as a member of the Jazz when his career was on a steady decline and played the role of Robin with KD obviously as Batman. Just something to think about.... I thoroughly agree that his seasons in Utah, don't match up with his seasons with either of our teams...like I said it's a tough choice because he spent the same amount of time with each team & it's just a personal preference of what was most valuable in each given GM's eyes.

Easy yes for the HOF vote. Not so easy on deciding which team.
I voted to put him in on the Bulls, as it was the creation of the HOF player himself. Flat out dominated in Chicago, and even in Milwaukee. He was second fiddle in Utah, and if KD wasnt on that team he woudlnt have won shit.
I voted yes and for the bulls

*changes vote to Bulls since nobody realizes the true dominance displayed by Amare in his 5 seasons as a Buck*

Stat padding on shitty team vs. playing at an all-star level on championship team and perennial contender?

Yes - he was a great player and had some amazing seasons. Winning a ship put it over the top for me.

It would have been more of a decision to make, I would have still voted yes but it made my decision a lot easier. I guess in the long run it shouldn't really matter but I like to think that truly great players can be the deciding factor for a team winning a championship. On the flip side - the early Sonics teams in this league were filled with HOF's but never won one. Cweb/Duncan/Shaq/Ray Allen/Iverson/Vinsanity/Malone/Garnett/Marbury/Collins/Battier/etc...

That logic makes sense. I think its more important on a fringe guy, like if Zbo had a title or two as a key cog then hes probably in, I voted yes but mostly because he wasn't getting in anyway and I think he was really, really close.
