The 86th nominee of the NBN Hall of Famer is about as big of a lock as you can get, except maybe KD and Childress. He was elite at EVERYTHING you can do in basketball, just like his real life counterpart. Just because he wasn't quite Kevin Durant good, doesn't mean he wasn't amazing. So was he the third best player of all time, since thats what we are all playing for? Lets take a look.

Arguments For Induction
- Lets all take a deep breath because this is going to take a little while. Okay, lets go. Starting with his rookie season, Lebron won Rookie of the Year as well as Rookie Game MVP. Starting out on top. He played in 14 All-Star Games in his 18 seasons, winning MVP of the All-Star game in two of those. He was also named to 6 All-Defensive second and 1 All-Defensive first team. And finally, Lebron was named to 3 All-League Third teams, 7 All-League Second Teams, and 1 All-League First team, in a season where he was better than Durant. I mean it happened to be Durant's rookie season, but we all gotta claim shit somewhere right?
- Lets just start from the top. He was an elite scorer. He averaged 27.7 points per game for his career. He finished 2nd All-Time in his career in points, behind Kevin Durant, another thing where Durant was better. He also shot the ball extremely well. Not quite Brandon Roy well, but his shooting line was pretty fantastic. He shot 46.7% from the field, 85% from the line, and 42.6% from three. Just incredible. One last thing about scoring, the first 15 seasons of his career(of 18) he scored 25 points or more, all while shooting well. Thats absolutely incredible.
- Lebron was one of the best all time at getting rebounds for non bigs. In fact, he is second all time in rebounds for a non big and 39th overall. He was second behind, you guessed it, Kevin Durant. He averaged 7.6 for his career, but was over 8 for five seasons. Just a fantastic rebounder overall.
- Lebron was one of the best defenders for a star of all time. He made 7 All-Defensive teams total. He averaged 3 stocks(2 steals, 1 block) for his career and carried an A rating for basically his entire career. Once again too, he had counting stats in his favor here as well, he was 5th All-Time in steals.
- I could talk about every aspect of basketball and Lebron was elite at it, so lets just end it here. He could score with the best of them, pass with the best of them which I didn't mention above with his 4 assists a game for his career and being over 4.5 several times, rebound as good as anyone not a big or Kevin Durant, all while not turning it over and shooting the ball at an elite clip. Just an incredible player that is without a doubt a Hall of Fame. In fact, the bigger questions are, was he the third best player of all time and what team should he be inducted as?
Arguments Against Induction
- Uh, only 11 years instead of 18 was he an All-League guy, this is the Hall of Fame, and Lebron was a slacker.
- Hmm, only 7 defensive awards? Not a great defender. Psh.
- No titles, even with All-Time great Steph Curry with him and all those 60 win Cavs teams. Only champs should be indcuted. Come on.
- I got nothing else.
Vote carefully, and remember to throw out arguments regardless of which side you're on. This should be a discussion that eventually gets the league to the proper decision on him. Your vote can also be retracted after it's been cast if you feel like switching to the other side based on the arguments that have been made. To be inducted, a player needs 70% and to be considered in a later class they need 50%. Vote carefully.
***BONUS - Don't forget that everyone who votes gets $25 and the person that makes the best argument or contributes to the discussion the best will be awarded an extra $25***
