One of the earliest stars of the league, Edwards settled in on the bench as a high-quality supersub for the back half of his career. Will the initial stardom be enough for him to get into the NBN Hall of Fame?

Arguments For Induction
- I'm not sure who decided that it would be a good idea to put this guy on the bench as a B- A- C B+ C C player coming off two years of All-Defensive teams as a three-time All-Leaguer at 26, but regardless... dude was legit. 13.2 PPG in his rookie year, followed up by 17.9, 26.4, 24.4, 27.3, 25.5, 26.1, and 21.3 consecutively until he ended up on the bench, all of those years being efficient too... offensive $tud.
- Defensively, this guy was one of the league's original superstars. Four All-D teams including quite a few high 2, low 3 stock seasons, even with the rating in the B's for a good chunk of that time. Edwards fully encapsulated what it means to be an elite wing in this league for quite a while.
- Edwards had one of the best primes for any of the players who were around in the early 2020's in this league. He was constantly dominant and a force all-around, whether that be his offensive ability, defensive prowess, or grind to grab boards, he did it all.
Arguments Against Induction
- This HOF case will be a tough sell for some of the GM's around here because of how his career went. He spent 5 seasons with under 20 MPG, which is unfortunate, considering he'd likely hover around 20-ish PPG for his career with a ton of awards to back it.
- Even with the 7-ish year prime, how well does Edwards stack up against a lot of the soon-to-retire guards in the league? He'll always be one of the "lesser" Hall of Famers if he did manage to get voted in.
- One argument I know will come up is the fact that he never won anything. He spent a lot of his time as the front man in New York, leading the Knicks to many playoff appearances, but you'd be hard pressed to find a time where Edwards was truly that important to a big-time contender.
Vote carefully, and remember to throw out arguments regardless of which side you're on. This should be a discussion that eventually gets the league to the proper decision on him. Your vote can also be retracted after it's been cast if you feel like switching to the other side based on the arguments that have been made. To be inducted, a player needs 70% and to be considered in a later class they need 50%. Vote carefully.
***BONUS - Don't forget that everyone who votes gets $100 and the person that makes the best argument or contributes to the discussion the best will be awarded an extra $100***
